Fair enough. We are different then.

This squad are all legends now for me. The Poch squad just fill me with regret.

It’s about winning for me. Success is winning trophies not just being fun to watch and finishing 2nd
Why were you Conte out then? That man is a born winner, should have been demanding the club listen to what the fuck he had to say and respond accordingly with a bumper contract and the summer window he should have had the first time around. That was my position.

When he joined wasn't it mentioned that Ange generally joins clubs alone?
fuck off to the ange thread in general football. i swear there's a sub set of contrarians on here who just want o bitch and moan. haven't you guys done enough damage to this forum? i swear it was never like this before this jerk got hired. he's like you guys' trump. crawl back in your holes

I was Poch in when he got sacked, I was in favour of Mourinho seeing out the season, when the poll got posted on when Conte would be sacked after the Southampton game I voted "still in charge for Everton" and wanted him to stay.

It is beyond childish to make sweeping generalisations about people assuming they are going to be negative about whatever coach comes in because they weren't happy clapping the last one as he led us to relegation form over the course of the season. My support of the next manager continuing in his job will largely be predicated on, primarily, how entertaining the football is to watch, and also how well he achieves in proportion to the team he has at his disposal. If we are playing shit football and bottom half under Frank (don't think either will be the case) I will want him gone just like I wanted Ange gone. There is not some cult of negativity rubbing its hands with glee at the idea of shitting on our next manager and any perceived success. We want to be entertained by our club and we want to be proud of it. Nothing more.
they don't care about spurs or football. they just want to win the internet. miserable little slags

You're the one who is happy to replace a trophy winning manager with somebody who has never won a trophy. Where is your ambition?

The chairmen of other big clubs back their managers properly and make sure they have enough experienced players in their squad so they can compete in all competitions. Our club has to try and compete with one arm tied behind it's back, thanks to Levy.
This guy is just a troll. Don't waste your time...

Because he quit and refused to come back to work. I was Conte in until that press conference and him using that as his get out clause. I don’t like quitters that claim to be leaders

From the end of his first summer window when Levy palmed him off with Lenglet on loan and Royal as a RWB, I was fully understanding Conte’s frustration but he quit. In his defense anger losing close friends and having an operation but he still quit and he hated the club. Constantly told us we are small time.

You think any of the club's actions in the following 6 months proved him wrong? We kept his fucking assistant on as the interim for fuck sake, we hired a guy from the Scottish league to replace him. Levy is massively small time. Why I don't get where you're coming from asking "oh what you don't want to win things?" of course I fucking do, I'm just not a complete fantasist. We have Daniel fucking Levy as a chairman, we will never be serial winners until that changes. I'd rather be entertained at a bare minimum by the football in the process.

And now as if to prove him further right the fanbase is having a fucking meltdown over sacking a guy who finished 17th because he won the 2nd rate European trophy. Conte wins leagues. He could retire now and Ange wouldn't match his achievements if he managed til he was 100.

I will get behind the manager. But, there isn't a lot wrong with this squad, if it stays fit and gets a few decent midfielders added to it, Frank needs to hit the ground running. And if he doesn't, Levy is bang in trouble.
In trouble from who? You seem to be in some kind of teenage multiverse where multimillionaires can be removed from their posts by chanting and posting on Twitter. I refer you to Mike Ashley - one of the most hated owners in recent history - he went when he wanted to go and not when some kid told him to. And the Glasers...

Because I didn’t want to sack the only manager in the Levy era to beat the system and actually win something major.

If he found a way to win, he’s far more likely to find a way to win something else that any other manager we’ve had

By the same token he's the only manager who finished on enough points to relegate you in a premier league season.
He was far more likely to get us relegated than any other manager we've had.

I don't think having a run at the championship is what comes to mind when you say the word "trophies"

Real Spurs fans, not Levy cucks who will suck him off no matter how much he holds the club back.

Sure but he didn’t actually get us relegated. He did actually win us a trophy
I'm not saying definitively he would get us relegated giving one more season, it would be facetious. It would also be facetious to suggest a man with such an astonishingly poor record against elite sides would be able to achieve any of the four competitions available to us next season given he would almost certainly have to play one of those elite sides at some point. Particularly in the Champions League, a competition made up largely only of elite sides.

Let's face it, the only way you see him winning a domestic cup is if he gets lucky enough that Man City are the only elite side we play en route to the final. He'd be absolutely fucked against any of Woolwich, Chelsea, Liverpool, Villa and Newcastle based off the evidence to hand.
