In fairness - has made one post on Ange thread. Otherwise, every other post on this thread.

Joined the Fighting Cock at 9 am today 🤣🤣🤣.

He's/she's/them's blatantly joined to moan about Frank and praise Ange. That's immediately obvious.
Needs to be locked into the Ange thread forever.

I know it's pronounced Mbuemo, so why is it spelled Mbeumo?
I have no idea......if I've even spelled it right.

Tomorrow would be excellent. In theory the window slams shut at 7pm on Tuesday, then in theory it doesn't reopen until next Monday 16th - then it stays open until the 1st September, when it slams shut again.

What is everyone going to do with themselves for 6 days when that window is shut? Buy people secretly, I suppose.

You can make approaches and negotiate, just not register them is my understanding.

If/when you lose faith or trust in each other (possibly so with AP+DL) then you're better off calling it a day rather than delaying the inevitable, creating more chaos & upheaval. The truth will come out in the end for us all to be able to make a better judgement. Up the Spurs! Steve

There's always more to these situations.

Interesting.

Think that ties back in to what you said about that review.

Why were you Conte out then? That man is a born winner, should have been demanding the club listen to what the fuck he had to say and respond accordingly with a bumper contract and the summer window he should have had the first time around. That was my position.
Conte got Napoli to move Osimenh out on loan to get his mate Lukaku in. Sold the star man, Kravatskelia, to PSG in Jan. filled the midfield with such luminaries as Billy Gilmour and Scot McTominay.
And guess what…he won Serie A in his first season. Serie A footballer of the year….Scott McTominay.
Shows how good he is if you let him run it,
Wonder what we would have thought if he had moved Kane to get Lukaku in. ?
By all accounts the Napoli fans hate the football.

But,but it's not a once in a lifetime Postecoglou, who brought Spurs their only glory for years. Our saviour.

Nothing at Tottenham will ever be good again. I am in despair and cannot contemplate what life will be like now that the greatest Spurs manager of the last 17 years has been unceremoniously sacked.

I thought his name was ‘Rimmer’ when I first read it!

I'm sorry

the guy didn't even turn up at training. Can you imagine Fergie not bothering to see who was going thru the motions?

Wrong. Just like Ange, Fergie famously rarely took training . He delegated it to his assistants e.g. Brian Kidd / Carlos Queiroz / Steve McClaren etc. Like Ange he'd watch from afar and kept his distance from the players. He also never went in the players area in the training ground - that was their domain.

Rio Ferdinand has revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson never took training sessions and spent more time speaking to his bookie than anyone else. "Every now and again before a session he'd gather us in, maybe ahead of a big game at the weekend or after a result and say, 'listen guys that game is out of your system now, I want a hard session'.

But when quizzed on whether Ferguson would ever make comments during training the centre-half admitted he was busy discussing which race horse he was going to back. He added: "He's speaking to his bookie about which horse he's backing. That's the person he has most conversation with.

Let’s chuck a Berryval in there for good measure! 😁

This is slightly more understandable....

What fries my brain is when they've been playing in the UK for years and suddenly all change...... FFS; did no-one think to ask the fucker when they first hit the scene?

........Especially an English lad like Eze, who's been a pro in the UK for 9 fucking years!!!

Does paying a £10m release clause for a manager sound like something levy would do especially as it has to be in one lump sum?

It will be a huge sticking point. It’s the one bit of doubt I have about it happening.
I get the concern. I've thought about it as well.. But it'd be stupididy that not even Levy has reached yet to sack a manager with obviously Frank in mind.. Having negotiated with Frank for a short while obviously. For it to become common knowledge that he's the choice. And then to go "Oh shit.. Brentford want us to pay the asking price?".. I know there was Slot, but he never seemed to get to this stage of being advanced. Once you go this far down the road with a manager, you're surely doing it with the intention of triggering the release clause.

But obviously the daftness of Levy can always strike.
