I only went there to see how quickly I could get banned. Didn't take long.This place is much more lively than SC. I take it most of you have been banned from there like me?
Anyway I'm enjoying the no nonsense attitudes on here
from 7am he'd be at the training ground. We had a meeting with him at Carrington and that was the only time we could get.
His office had a massive window overlooking the training pitch. He might not have taken the sessions but by god they were in awe of him and knew that he might be watching them at any stage.
I also saw one of the players when he'd been called in for a meeting. He looked like he was walking to a firing squad. When he realised it wasn't something bad he'd done he almost fell over with relief.
Don't think our players had anything like the same respect for Matey. And I do realise that things have moved on somewhat in the last 15 years. Dont think for a minute that Romero wouldve got away with those "performances" he put in before International breaks. Like the Ipswich fuck up. And Porro going walkabout in the first minute v Villa away in the cup. And the whole back 4 at Wolves 0-2 down in 10 mins.

The ITK was the reason I joined SC a while ago. I know now, and probably knew back then, that most of it was bullshit but it was just a bit of fun with transfer rumours during the summer when not much else is going on. Just got to take things with a pinch of salt.I’ve been a member for circa 20 years but banned from the transfer forum for a good 5 years for pointing out that Gards was a WUM… a few months later Gards was confirmed as a WUM but you’re not allowed to identify this. I rarely post these days, much prefer this site… it’s a good laugh, you can have actual conversations with other fans and you can both agree and/or disagree without being dragged over the coals by the moderators. It’s an actual adult forum but without the snowflakes you find on SC.
But fuck me, they're really treated as some sort of gods you just can't question in the slighest. Just a general "that doesn't make sense to me" and people get furious and wonder how you dare question the ITK. It's also fascinating how they manage to find the most sensitive people on earth to become ITK. Most messages get like hundreds of positive ratings but if they get one negative rating (most often completely accidental) they will lose their shit and act like "OMG, how can you neg rep me?! I'm not posting anymore!!!!"
