Like most sensible poster I will judge Frank on the football on the improvements however incremental. Only the people looking to create fake divides and culture wars want this to devolve into you're an anti coach, or pro coach type. Each case is MUST be judged in isolation. I like to think even the most opinionated here can do this. The King's dead long live the King.

Lol I haven't got a problem with people wanting Ange out. I completely understand why he went.

My issue is that it's the 'top 4 isn't a trophy' and 'when did we stop caring about winning cups?' lot of the last many years who are now the ones saying they'll be happy for Thomas to get us back into the top 4 race.

It's weird.

The same people attacking other managers for only caring about the top 4 and throwing cups, are now the ones saying it'll be ok with them if that's what Frank brings.

Plus...we all know that once the reign of Frank gets going, it'll be those same people calling him 'big ears' and calling the players shit.

It's bizarro world but I'm quite enjoying it.

You think it's weird to acknowledge there has been a massive regression. I think they are doing what you are not failing to, acknowledge context. We are no longer the club who has the luxury of turning our nose up at finishing in the top 4 or employing Brentfords manager. We USED to be. Was it JM Kaynes said "when the facts change I change my mind sir. What do you do?

This isn't odd it happened to Woolwich under Wenger then Pochettino showed up and suddenly years of auto ECL qualification not being good enough came back to bite them. I recall revelling in a period when both north London clubs were linked to a player and the player would go on record with his preference for us. Things have changed.
