Im saying it now, I don’t think Frank will rate BJ, Kulu, Odobert, or Son as starters in his system.

He likes powerful runners in his forward line which rules out most of our attack apart from Tel, Solanke, and Richi (at a stretch).
I want kulu to step up as a number 8 through the middle as competition with maddison. Odobert needs to he the understudy to a new starting right winger. Likewise Tel on the left should be an understudy to a new starting left winger.
We should sell Son.
We should sell BJ to anyone dumb enough to buy him

His first game will be a North London Derby in Hong Kong, then a couple of tap-ins vs Newcastle and Bayern Munich before playing PSG in the Super Cup.

Agree with most of this except for the Kulusevski point, genuinely don’t believe he is creative enough to play CAM - he cannot pick out a pass and therefore is ineffective at CAM.

Agree wholeheartedly that we need two brand spanking new starting wingers!

None of those 3 are powerful runners. I think Johnson will be ok, he’s got that goal in him which gives him worth. Hopefully he bins the Brazilian donkey and gets a tune out of the others.

Agree about binning Richarlison even though I do like him don’t see the point in keeping.

I would say Tel and Solanke are at least ‘powerful runner’ adjacent - more so than anyone else in the squad!

I think next season is make or break for maddison to prove he is as world class as he thinks he can be and also make or break for kulu to prove he deserves to be here.

Top 8 maybe. Seriously going from 17th to top 5 is a lot in one season.
We could easily compete in a domestic cup but CL might be tough with this current squad.

I think his main problem is dealing with over expectation because half our fan base is so clueless they think we have world class players like Kulusevski and err Brazil’s number 9. We don’t. This squad is very average in all truth.
We went from 5th to 17th in 1 season and so why not the other way around. Unless the 23/24 team was much better than the 24/25 team which I do not think it was. No way would I be happy for 8th and no trophy at the start of the season.

Me neither. Poor end product and runs down cul du sacs. 7 goals and 4 assists in 32 EPL appearances this season is weak.

Maddison will never be world class. He’s a very good player but he’s not going to dominate a match. Doesn’t deserve to be in the England squad. He doesn’t seem to be able to last a full match.

I might be wrong but I think Frank tried to buy BJ for Brentford?
Agree with what is being said about Maddison and Kulu, both need to be more consistent and influential in the middle of the park next season, otherwise one or both will find themselves regularly on the bench as Bergvall steps up.

Its a done deal and will be announced any minute now. I'll fully be behind Frank but I have major major concerns.

I'm not sure he's good at breaking down low blocks. I don't think his teams show much on the ball in the final third when up against a sitting team. This is my major concern. Spamming the box with crosses isn't enough. You need to have clever possession patterns to break teams down in different ways. His Brentford team always struggled when a team sat on them and thats why they went nearly 4 months without a home win this season from december to April, including a 1-0 defeat at home to Plymouth in the cup.

I think he'll be an improvement on Ange is most other areas. Tactically more adaptable and much better shape out of possesion. Imagine we'll be much more boring to watch but thats not a bad thing if it means we have more control in games. I hope Frank surprises me, but for now I'm underwhelmed and not confident he's the right fit.
Nothing more boring than getting stuffed at home on numerous occasions.
