Management Thomas Frank

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You don't honestly think he could ever have got us as high as that again, do you?

I think he could if: he got the senior players he wanted for next season with better play welfare management which had already been acted on by the cub and played to get results which he showed he could do in Europe.

Frank walks into a much better platform to build than Postecoglou did-not sure why people are saying top 6 or 7 or even even 10 th is ok when Postocoglou got 5th in the first year of a major re-build project that Frank won't be undertaking.

A tedious 1000 word screed on why Tottenham fans shouldn’t expect too much. How about a League Cup? Nah too difficult, just be happy with a reasonably high league finish. Are you this much of a loser in real life?

It’s like Daniel Levy’s wet dream has gained sentience and learned how to post on a message board.

:levywhoa:

The Ange outers are already laying down the ground work should Frank fail and they proven wrong. Fifth or GTFO.

Season 9 Lol GIF by The Office

Martin Jol was here 3 years / 148 games.
Redknapp not far from 4 years / 198
Poch 5.5 years / 293 games
Over 12 years between 3 managers who could actually string 3+ league wins together outside of Conte.

It's a fallacy that we just continually change coaches, and there is often circumstances in addition to poor form such as Conte melting, AVB totally losing the dressing room and the fans rejecting Nuno from day 1.

Can't you go ahead and fuck off back to whatever Celtic forum you crawled out from now that you have literally zero affiliation to Tottenham anymore? Or is it boring discussing what point margin you will finish above the rest of a league that you financially dwarf?

This screams academy development and path to the first team to me. He knows them well I would think.
I know this will please a lot of fans. I just hope we are able to decipher which youth players are actually able to step up to Premier League football and which ones are probably going to be sold on.
Our fans have a bad habit of thinking every youth player is the next big thing.

I can't be arsed to look, but are there any Brentford fans that are happy to see him go?
Nope. Not one is happy to see him go.
Some are saying, "We move on". One or two are having the ritual side-moan about his substitutions being too slow and predetermined. A few are thanking him, but most of them are wailing and gnashing their dentures. It's a bit like a lame, milky version of this place, with no ooomph. They've got plenty to say about us though lol. Rent-free, as Baz would say.

If people are gonna keep calling him Thomas the Frank Engine, some one needs to work with this

[Chorus]
They're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight
Shunting trucks and hauling freight
Red and green and brown and blue
They're the Really Useful Crew
All with different roles to play
Round Tidmouth Sheds or far away
Down the hills and round the bends
Thomas and his friends

[Verse 1]
Thomas, he's the cheeky one
James is vain but lots of fun
Percy pulls the mail on time
Gordon thunders down the line
Emily really knows her stuff
Henry toots and huffs and puffs
Edward wants to help and share
Toby, well let's say, he's square!

[Chorus]
They're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight
Shunting trucks and hauling freight
Red and green and brown and blue
They're the Really Useful Crew
All with different roles to play
Round Tidmouth Sheds or far away
Down the hills and round the bends

That to me is indicative.
Our fan base are almost always split into 2 opposing camps when a manager goes. Then again, none of our managers have been poached.
But let's say Ange was poached, I have no doubt there would have been as big a cunt off as we've seen since he was sacked.

Indicative of what? Us being split as a fanbase, Frank being an excellent coach, or both?
