Guy that phoned talksport summed it up Friday
"all those people who ignore the 22 losses were more likely out shopping with the mrs and saw the result after the game"

For those of us that lived it, saw how bad we were, how comprehensively we were beaten and that 1 goal losses hid the true horror, it can't be ignored.

De Boer or Van Gaal.
Shows how we fans get too excited about names as both were shit in the league.
It was only when Van Gaal went to United I started to understand why he's been sacked left right and centre his whole career.
one of my favorite spurs highlights ever. like a missile through the night sky that explodes into the crowd behind the goal. that's when i knew we had the best player in the world. i can't find it but there was a joke tweet i think that said, 'found by the grounds crew post match' with a pic of a post it note that said 'pass it to bale'

We have missed the thrill of someone shooting from almost anywhere forever tbh. Even Kane wasn't as trigger happy (and accurate) as Bale.

It was more like psychological horror than gorefest.

Think we will be hard to beat under Frank. Has better quality players at his disposal as well.

If TF can come in and sort us out like this to start with, I'd be perfectly fine with that. Can work on improving the attacking then but lets get some solid fucking foundations built so mickey mouse shite like Wolves, Fulham, Woolwich etc aren't beating us.

It is particularly embarrassing when you declare outright to the Mrs that the match is on and you're doing nothing on a saturday/sunday, only to just end up pottering about the house with 30 mins still left because you can't bear to watch any more. "I thought that was so important we couldn't go out anywhere" etc.

There used to be a point where we'd score late and keep going until the final seconds, but it felt like a long time ago by March. If we started a bit shit, we'd not recover. No real control over the game

We survived to tell the tale, though, mate - that's the important thing. Stay strong ✊

yeah at the time i really wanted both of them and was pretty gutted when van gal turned us down last minute. that's also around the time i realized i really don't know shit about football

I'd expect Gooners or the Chavs to downplay it as just a poor trophy, not a Spurs fan....... any way if you can't enjoy a night like that then i actually feel sorry for ya, I'm still buzzing we won it, couldn't give a fuck if we drew 0-0 in the final and won by a pen shootout, any way lets look forward to Frank
Don't be an idiot.
Go through everyone from the start to the end and name me 2 that were able to be a top half PL side. Go on.
