We should be all over that if that's the case. The only concern is his physicality, but then, he plays in a position where players like KDB, Mata or Ozil also thrived, and they're not physical either.

KDB is an absolute workhorse player, nothing like Mata and Ozil who were flimsy and easily bullied. After our experience with Bryan Gil I would stay away from players like that, you have to be physically strong to succeed in this league.

Several sites now reporting that Real M. are putting Arda Güler up for sale... Can play both wide and central.
Like Martin Ødegaard (he joined Real M. at 16) before him, he should never have joined Real M. at an age when playing regular 1st team footy is essential for development.
If that is to be true, which I dont think it is co spidering the profile of the manager in at RM and the way he plays, then we should be absolutely all over that.

Güler has said that he was told he'd be the heir to Modric when he signed, so one might assume next season could be different for the player. He's also played fairly regularly and scored some big goals for them.

Paper talk I reckon. Not many would want to leave RM off their own volition

I wouldn't be surprised if he stays at Real M....but now he's got Bellingham, Valverde and maybe even Franco Mastantouno in front of him for the OMF spot and Rydrygo, Vinicius and Endrick (and Valverde) in front of him for the wide spots....

Prolly better off with Garnacho than Semenyo. Guy has a lot of growing to do and almost matches Semenyo's output.

Hes 20, played 150 prem games and united are desperate for cash.

I reiterate myself:

Michael Scott No GIF

Spurs have 4 players over 100.000£ a week now Timo is gone. (Son, Romero, Kulu and Maddison)
To compare to the "big 6"
Liverpool 12, Man City 16, Gooners 17, Man Utd 16 ,Chelsea 13.

:levyhands:

Modric is probably smaller than all those players but he was never bullied

It’s not really about size, Modric was small but he was a very gritty player, low centre of gravity with chunky wombat legs. He was strong.

It’s the more flimsy type of attackers like Ozil that you don’t really see in the PL anymore. Or any top team really. You have to have the strength and will to compete physically.

Remember when we were ahead of Liverpool??

Now dropping 150m on one player and still chasing players that would be our only marquee spend at 50-60m. And offering wages that triple our biggest legend in modern history to rotation players to compete with their starting 6

Liverpool sadly are a perfect example of how to run a club. They are massive, much bigger than Chelsea or City but they don’t have a sugar daddy pumping in money and their revenue isn't much more than ours. When I look at our squad I see depth but I don’t see quality, 2-3 elite signings would change us.
