Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

What’s the bare minimum?

Left sided defender that can play LB & LCB
CB - *only if Romero leaves
DM - critical - number 1 position needed
LWF - essential too - need a top quality ready made first team Sonny replacement - (tricky no idea who?)

Then nice to have
Another 10? Eze, Grealish type? Creative midfielder to take pressure of Maddison and Kulu

A proper 9 - I’m talking Oshimen, Sesko, Guokeres make Solanke no. 2 w sell Richy.

The first 4 should be non negotiable, ready made first team quality players ready for CL.

The latter 2, I guess we could do without

From the few videos I have seen of her I think she is better at analyzing that is "there" already rather than what might be (like her match tactics analysis are fairly good).

fair comment.

I think that comes from the fact she has limited information on players (particullarly as she does not follow Spurs) so its easier to work out who needs to be upgraded and suggest alternatives, than a more wide review which requires more extensive knowledge

First 3/4 are absolutely mission critical to really step forward and the club knows it (Romero aside). I think we may see an attempt at Eze or morgan Gibbs white. A proper 9 will have to wait. I'm interested to see how Richy & Solanke do though with Frank at the helm.

With so many options who can play in that position - Tel, Moore, Odobert, Yang Min-hyeok, Richarlison -
I suspect the club might disagree. I know none of them have been consistently good, I know say 2 might go out on loan, and I'm not saying I agree with this assessment, but I suspect the club might end up saying "You know what, that's 5 players who can play there, surely one of them must come good?" I guess time will tell.

EDIT: I know you could say same about DM, but we've tried all our options there. Of the above, most have had very few games for us, maybe only Richi could be described as fully tried out there, and even that has been stop/start due to injuries etc.

Really think this can get done, why would you want to go to that circus of a club with their manic depressive manager, miserly owner and leaky stadium where careers go to die when you could come to Tottenham? As long as we don't fuck about with the contract the fee is well within our recent reach, would be a huge statement of intent on backing Frank to succeed from the off.

Fucking perfect! Let’s go get him. He’s been the one I’ve wanted us to sign the most for ages now. He’s the most obvious Son replacement for us in that he’s a wide player with a proven ability to get 15-20 goals a season, albeit from the opposite side of the park. Great attitude, a grafter and should hit the ground running given that Frank knows exactly how to get the best out of him. Absolute no brainer if he’s keen.

If true, this is a fantastic scoop. 5'11". 20 yo. 41 apps for 1st team.

Style of play

Pisilli is a complete midfielder who can contribute offensively with goals and assists, and also in the defensive phase. A constant presence in Roma's youth sides, he is able to withstand blows on the pitch and has uncommon tactical intelligence that helps him break down plays. His speed of thought helps him with interceptions and recoveries.

See Alfie Devine for similar description, with Alfie also playing both wings in E youth as E Youth had lots of CM's not so many wingers .... but Alfie rated one of best in his E u19/u20 sides playing out of position on wing . Played in Begium top league and Championship versus Serie A.

Big advantage would be List B and then Club Trained allowing Spurs to get in an extra player rather than signing an overseas player

If it actually happens, Mbuemo would be one of the few signings we've made in recent years. Along with maybe Maddison? That we would be pretty certain makes us a vastly stronger team from matchday one. Without any worry of settling in or development. (Obviously there was Van De Ven, but him hitting the ground running was a pleasant surprise, rather than something to expect).

But those are the kind of signings that this summer should be focusing on. A game changing 3/4. Rather than 5 punts.
