Same reason there's some talk about Vicario and Radu possibly being sold.
Think there's only a few that are guaranteed to be here next season.

Yep, and when fans go through their favourite players and who should play… we’re still left with pretty much the same side as last season who were simply not good enough. There needs to be investment and upgrades in multiple positions.

GK - question marks over Vicario
CB - lack of quality and reliable depth
LB - no cover
CM - not good enough (there’s talent - Bergvall, Sarr, Gray) but no defensive qualities and serious lack of leadership
ACM - Maddison and Kulu both blow hot and cold
WFWD - lack of quality
Striker - Solanke works hard and is good but we need better, plus adequate cover/competiton

Now I know we won’t necessarily get these players but:

Branthwaite/Bisseck/Collins instantly improves our centre back options
Multiple linked DMs plus Larsson, MGW etc would improve central midfield
MGW (versatile), Eze are instant upgrades on Maddison and Kulu
Mbeumo, Semenyo, Simons are all better than Johnson and co

Its better than the Swedish league mate.

Like I said, Son had 120 odd bundesliga appearances. Is that a farmer league too?

Blinkered.

I don't think it matters where a player comes from as long as the scouting has been done right.
We signed a £30m Soldado from La Liga around this time. Almost 200 La Liga appearances. Was he a better acquisition then than Bergvall is now?

I do like Semenyo but I do wonder is he a bit of a match of the day type player, don’t watch him ecru week but he seems two footed, pretty good if not explosive pace BUT he signed on till 29 so that means big money

20 GI's in all comps last year. 8 the year before. He's definitely not the finished article but he could be and looks like on a an upward curve.

Would be another right footed LW tho.

Devine is the only player left at the club who was signed by Mourinho.
Think he might be sold.
Son and Davies are the survivors signed by Pochettino.
Both of those could be gone before next season.
Gil, Romero and Sarr all signed by Nuno.
A couple of those could be gone as well.
Bissouma and possibly (hope not) Richarlison from Conte's era?
Could be a couple of Ange's signings will leave.

He's one of the most two footed players in the league to be fair.. I thought he was left footed first time I saw him play. Apparently he uses his right for 60% of actions and his left for 40%.

Semenyo is more like signing Leao or Antony Gordon, top draw two way winger, very physical, quick and able to dribble well. Signing Mbeumo is more like signings a Salah profile.

They are two really good players but quite different.
