It’s literally KWP or have a reduced CL squad until the likes of Gray and Bergvall become club trained in two years time.

Could be Cirkin

But tbh I don’t really see the damage in a reduced CL squad.

We will have depth in the PL so still able to rotate. There’s no reason spending wages on a player to fill a squad place when we won’t play them anyway. KWP isn’t a CL level player.

Liverpool looking to offload Darwin for 40-50m (and I reckon it’ll be nearer 40). If you take “tap ins” out of the equation, this guy does everything else pretty damn well. Presses really well, great engine, great movement, quick strong, technically decent. Can play across the front 3. Despite missing sitters, the guy was still a 1 in 2 gpg last year.
Where'd you get 1 in 2 from for last season? He played 45 games in all competitions and scored 7 goals with 4 assists. That's less than 1 in 6!
Unless you meant sitters missed per game, for which he's probably 2 in 1!
Also maybe Luis Diaz is on the list too. Wouldn’t turn my nose up.
That we can agree on, although 1 in 3 and minimal assists wouldn't justify the money Liverpool would demand IMO.

Darwin would be a huge upgrade on Richarlison in every facet, and would cover all the same bases, back up 9, back up WF, works his nuts off, quicker, moves with the ball better. And is half price and cheaper than Richarlison was.
Every facet?
Covers all the same bases apart from his goal.scoring record. Richarlison is 1 in 3, Nunez is 1 in 6.

The only place where he's an upgrade on Richarlison is in availability, and who wants a striker to be available when they couldn't hit a barn door from the inside?

Said it 1000 times before.... A chequebook battle leaves Spurs 5th - 7th every season (and in the dust having historicaly never had CL income). Therefore anything significant requires more bang for our buck and a manager that has us punching above our weight.
The gobshite malcontents are in denial of that fact and instead prattle on about our wealth compared to other clubs in Europe and even NFL clubs.

Spin it any way you want you apologist fucking loser....we're fucking minted, blud

I doubt Sunderland will sell Cirkin after getting promoted. I don’t see the harm in offering KWP a one-year deal and say he will get some minutes in the cups. You say we have depth in the PL squad, but we still are over stuffed there too and if Porro were to go down with a long-term injury say, we would still be short at FB.

Really don't like the idea of kudus and hope that we swerve that one.
Strikes me as the kind of player that will move clubs, bigger contract, start quite well and then drop off and flatline.
I actually wanted him a few years ago from ajax but we need a big forward signing we can count on to lead and excel, that's not kudos for me.
Either way it looks like we have around 60m for an attacker burning a hole in our pocket but we're trying to find the most 'sensible' option.

Why would KWP accept a 1-year deal. He's 28 and probably looking at his last big deal and there's plenty of interest in him. Never going to happen.

Why would we sign him for the CL squad and then only use him in the cups when we don’t need him?

Makes zero sense

Interesting, possibly true although

Darwin - appearances 30 goals 5
Richarlison appearances 15 goals 4

Richarlison also works extremely hard, presses well. Darwin also misses a of chances I think Richy would score in the same scenario.

Each to their own

Richarlison isn't worth the risk or a squad place.

His injury record is horrendous.

He needs to go, and however much he huff's and puff's when fit, that shouldn't be taken into account.

We just cannot carry a squad player who basically never plays.
