If Frank says that's the guy I want then I don't see how we can say no really.
Thankfully he’s a data guy and he won’t stomp his feet over weird players he has a hankering for. He will look at who we can get whose numbers excel in areas we need.
The entire case for Thomas Frank is that he's NOT a manager who says "outbid United for this one 70M or my 'system' doesn't work"

He is here to coach the output of Lange's recruitment operation, as he did with the data-munchers at Brentford.

So jealous of the way Liverpool do their recruitment.

They are going to sell Quanseh for 40 million to Leverkusen and sign Guehi for about 40 - 50 mill as a much better replacement.

Guehi will be the long term replacement for Konate as they faze him out.

Already signed Wirtz for a record fee (hope he flops).

And Kerkez will be a quality signing at LB.

Who have we not signed

everyone GIF

Also, by club announcement and his own wording - he's Head Coach, not a Manager of any sort. Think its clear in the structure that he's involved in recruiting, but he's going to cook with the ingredients stocked in the kitchen by others.

This is the arrangement we had when Poch was most successful, I've got no issues with it.

Be happy for Mbuemo to join, but £70M is a pretty substantial investment when, again, the greatest need in this squad is DM.

ekitike pls. Big cunt and a lovely first touch, reminds me a bit of Kanoute / Berba

Levels above the hard working Solanke - who will start to drop off this season as his aerobic capacity starts to slowly drop

From self made, intelligent multi millionaire data experts to an arrogant spiv, selecting players based on his fave agents reco

Best of British Thomas, you will need it

They are a club that, from top to bottom demands success.
Not like others who, stage PR videos to excite the fans, but continue to recruit teenagers with little incentive to be the very best.

He said in his interview that they talked about transfer targets during the hiring process. Now we are strongly linked with Mbeumo. So 2+2 says Frank identified Mbeumo as a target and Levy didn't shut him down.

Also the constant glazing and ball sucking of Liverpool is boring as well, we're all guilty of it I suppose but it gets a bit tedious when you read it every day.

Just a club that’s makes good decisions annoyingly but as a club with similar revenue one we should be able to compete with including in transfers/wages and general scouting.

The likes of City or Chelsea success is tied to money only, Liverpool isn’t and that is both a source of frustration but also a source of hope, with the right amount of ambition and thought we can do what they do.
