Plus I can’t imagine he’s asking for huge wages. It’s exactly the kind of deal we’d do. More averageness to bloat out the squad with. If we aren’t going to buy top draw quality then just give Moore his minutes FFS.
We are linked with so many players though who we never sign so it’s always worth remembering that especially if paratici is back with his plate spinning.
Why are you bothered about the transfer fee? It's the modern game.
£50million today probably gets you a £20mil player 5 years ago.

Paratici stepping on the toes of Lange probably won't go down well with Frank.
Surely it's better to have Frank and Lange working together. Unless we use Paratici like we used David Pleat, purely as a scout and contacts man.

Who really knows. He seems to be involved though doesn’t he. Part of me wonders if that is just because he can’t get a job anywhere else as is seen as damaged goods or because all of the cases against him haven’t gone away yet.

I think both men can work in tandem and paratici doesn’t work solely on transfers but on improving other areas of the club too. Plus like you say, doing deals and having contacts.

Frank himself said the 'team' that needs to be aligned is Levy, Vinai, Lange and himself. Bringing Paratici into the mix as a wild card seems like madness. Hopefully Levy is clever enough to know it is not a good idea.
Neither Garnacho or Tel were considered good enough to get into the starting 11 for the biggest match of the season. Therefore neither are good enough to be a starter this coming season. Yes they are young but so is Bergvale and he would have started if fit. We need better.
I am actually quite interested to see what Frank can do with our squad. I am hoping Son's minutes are managed (an hour a week) and he is not used as a touchline winger who has to consistently sprint back to help defend the gaping holes at the back, and is allowed to shoot from outside the box (his main strength). Son and Tel sharing minutes as inside forwards from the left could be very good.
Ambitious clubs pay over the odds for the player they want. They stay focused and go after their target. They sign quality players amidst the odd expensive mistake.
We scattergun and see the best deal we can hustle. Then we end up with loads of players we can’t shift.
Who spoke like he's Neymar?I'm actually convinced that everyone in here thinks Garnacho is quality just because of the shit our wide players served up, I mean he's alright and got a lot of potential but it's almost as if people are talking about Neymar.
He's a good/very good premier league wide player that has the potential to reach excellent level.
Last season was considered a bad season for him in which he was in and out the team and he still 11 goals with 9 assists.
The season before he had 9 goals and 4 assists and he was 18/19.
He's 20 now. Tbh there's not that many 18/19 year old that managed these sort of returns in premier league history.
They would be keeping Garnacho is it wasn't for FFP and the fact that he actually wants to leave

I agree but a concern both I and others would have is that we need based on reported fees, at least 3 players in the £60-70m range. What happens all too often is we’ll get say 1 circa £60m player and either kids who aren’t expected to develop for at least 2-3 seasons and/or will never make it or more squad fillers who won’t be any better than our existing existing inconsistent/not good enough players.
