Transfers The Summer Transfer Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

There's a few articles about that the club are interested in signing Adem Zorgane, apparently his primary position is defensive midfield, he's Algerian, plays in Belgium, and our club's representatives were impressed by him when they went to see our lads at Westerlo and he was in the opposing team. The transfer fee being mentioned is £8.5m.
Under 10 mil! Levy will be all over this.

Pal, our beloved chairman didn't fully back Redknapp after he got us into the CL and we were doing well in the league...remember friggin Nelsen & Saha?

Sold Bale for a record fee, only to waste the money on Soldado, Paulinho, Chiriches...

Poch turned us into an elite squad able to win big things, just needed that extra touch of help...he got no new players for 18 months. And when he did get players, most were shite.

Jose wanted Skriniar...got Rodon. Conte wanted Bastoni, got Spence. Replaced Kane with Richarlison & Solanke. Signing Tel over someone of Nico Williams' ilk.

But yeah 2025 is when he's finally gonna deliver cause he wants the PL & CL.
Actions speak louder than words and Levy has got away with most of what ENIC have done without saying very much at all.

Now there is finally some visible anger what happens?

Donna Cullen has been removed, a gooner has been brought in, some pr spin has been released; and people are now creaming their pants in expectation.

It's still jam tomorrow.

The jam's just been re-packaged in a different jar.

United done Cunha 65m and next Mbeumo 65+5m

But we need to win the PL and CL so I’m chilled, no doubt we will go just as committed to winning in the transfer market soon

Fed up with the negativity and people talking about how great other clubs are doing . How many towers are these other clubs building . None of them have a Scooby Doo how to run a real estate business .

Thank you Daniel for having such foresight and prioritising apartment blocks

It would be good but he is a number 10, not really a winger, we also have Maddison, Kulusevski and maybe Donley so his signings would suggest we are going to play maybe two number 10’s. Palace do it currently a bit under Glasner.
True he is more of a 10 so you could well be right with us playing 2 10's. Unfortunately can't rely on Madders to he A) available for full season and B) consistent for bulk of season so having a top player like Eze for that role would be great.
Let's see what happens though as we've been here before with Eze and alot of other potential big signings

Can you blame levy for that or just players that just couldnt make the step up. Soldado had 4 good GS seasons in a row before we signed him.

I do agree that the guy will never change. Whats baffling though is hes happy to throw 50 -60m on players like solanke, richarlison, johnson just because they wont ask for big wages.

When I see a link to a player valued at £50 million who had 12 G/A in 34 games ( or similar ) I don’t get excited. Its the same when stats say a player averages 1.3 successful dribbles per 90 minutes.

We don't have a lot of money to spend. I judge our potential spends against how it might be invested otherwise. This is called "cost-benefit analysis". If you need an apple and a coconut, but trade the only three oranges you have for the apple, and then have nothing to trade for the coconut, you have to go without. This is part of what we call "economics"- how to allocate resources in a reality of scarcity.

On the other hand, it sounds like you live in some fantasy world where blowing a club record transfer fee on Kudus is no big deal. It doesn't seem like big-picture thinking is for you- maybe you should just stick to being a casual fan and collecting bobbleheads and kits, dawg.
