Regardless of how it turns out at least it would show some intent and ambition by the club. Rather than the usual uninspiring and underwhelming players we are linked with.
This squad is very underwhelming at present. Links to former players and youth team players being promoted is depressing.

I think this is actually a very smart deal . He might not take us to the PL and CL promised land .However he is young , fit and strong , he will make an ideal hod carrier on the 4 towers project .
I really do not understand how Levy's mind works. Having said publicly he wants to win the CL and the PL, surely he realises he needs to buy 2 - 3 new players to improve the first team by the start of pre-season training for the new manager to have any chance of being competitive this season? And by competitive I mean finishing in the top 5. Winning the league is another story altogether.
If we just signed Mbeumo and Eze we have a decent chance of a good season (assuming Frank can get a tune out of Sarr, Bentancur, Bergvall, Gray and Bissouma in CM).
Sell: Son, Richarlison, Davies, Bissouma, Solomon, (and all the loanees who will not make it with us - Gil , Veliz etc.)

Maybe and I know it’s a hard to believe for some on here , but perhaps Daniel was lying about his ambition .
I've noticed a few people are counting Danso and Tel as new signings, even though they also counted them in January,If Frank doesn't injure all our players....
Won't that be like having new signings?
.... so I was wondering..... are we we're counting Romero and Kulu again this time round .
