Really thought we'd sign a bunch of young J league talent under big Ange.
To be fair we did sign a bunch of wing backs and centre backs for Conte that he badly needed in Porro, Udogie, VDV and Dragusin but gave them to him after he left the club.

Looks like Kawasaki Frontale , Kota Takai team went on a great run and ended up runner up in AFC Champions league.
Apparently, Takai faced up Al Nassar in Semis and did well against Ronaldo, Mane and Jhon Duran....
His team lost to final to Al Ahli (Toney, Mahrez,Firmino).
He got good reviews from tournament. While these are ex players, still its a good level to measure up against.
When I find time, going to watch the 2 games...

Takai is easily among my top 5 fav CBs in the J League. I've been saying that for a while.
It is like in that video game Clair Obscur. They roll a random age and it automatically connects the chavs to all players that age.Think they have an automated calling system.
Since the moment I first heard of him, he's been my favourite. Literally, I couldn't name any other J-League player I'd rather have.
