I'm getting seriously concerned about our PSR position amidst this reckless spending spree

I'm excited by Eze as a signing. I think he's more versatile than people are giving him credit for. He can play off the left when Maddison is in the side. I also think he could do a good job on the right. So I can see him starting regularly across 3 different positions and he raises the bar in each one.

I get that Mbeumo might have made more sense but United screwed that for everyone by offering him daft wages. But I'd have Eze over Semenyo or Kudus every day of the week. Eze can be very effective out wide and I think that part of his game is being a bit underrated.

I think he will replace Grealish at City.

This is what Levy said after the Cup win: "We've won a European trophy. It's not enough. It's what we haven't done that's more important. We need to win the league. We want to win the Premier League. We want to win the Champions League. We want to win."

So in order to do that, you really have to buy top, quality players, or it can't happen.

Let's just see what top quality players we do actually buy.

Ah come on mate it's 24th June. Il take the pitchforks back out of shed around end of July if still like this but let's see what happens next few weeks to

It’s not pitchforks though is it? More like resigned apathy.

We all know what the clubs model is and isn’t capable of…

It’s not to say that none of the players we sign will be good. Just that you know there won’t be anyone that comes through the door that didn’t come from within the expected range of our model.

For example, if Real decide to shift Camavinga and Rodrygo, you know that won’t be us in the picture. Same goes for any other real blockbuster signings.

I’d love Eze, I think he’s class but he’s very much in our range in the same way Solanke was.

It's been 20+ years.

If we know what our model is and we all know Levy isn't going to change, why are people getting so angry about it?

I believe of we want Eze and if Eze wants to come then it'll be done. We had the same saga last summer though.

I get that this thread needs to exist. I get it's fun to look at rumours and links but that's all they are.

There are absolutely no ITKs with Spurs these days. None. So why do people get so frustrated at made up shit?

Tel, Takai and Kyle Walker-Peters! And we got Ben Davies to sign a contract extension!

He's really backing up his talk isn't he? :levylol:
