You have inserted BUY in there but it’s not warranted.

In any case, let’s correct the record before myths take hold. Earlier in that same video he spoke of competing in all competitions which is obviously the short term goal. If you listen to what Vinai said just before and what Levy is responding to, then it is clear that winning is a longer term goal. That is consistent with the actually transfer policy strategy we have seen recently.

Levy won't make Mbeumo our highest paid player and Mbeumo hasn't achieved enough to sign for us and instantly become our highest paid player. That model isn't serving Man Utd well, but they are doubling down on it, thinking the change of the manager is the key. Time will tell. I think they just keep digging.

Mbeumo would likely have been better off taking the £180k at Spurs and then off to MLS/Saudi in 3 or 4 years.
 
Eze is a weird one because I arguably think him and Madders play the same position best. I’m all for it, but with Tel and Odobert and of course Sonny that LW feels a bit cramped. RW is where we need the most reinforcement. He’s the quality we need, although not necessarily the easiest fit in the squad, so I understand the hesitation.

Yeah, as United seem to be the destination where playing careers go to die, I’m very surprised anyone decent would want to go there.

They have no model.They can't sell any players because they put them on such ridiculous wages that if they flop they are stuck with them. Rashford and Sancho are on 700k a week combined and they can't sell them. Meanwhile they are signing similar level players like Cunha and Mbeumo and offering them stupid wages. so if they flop they are stuck with them too and can't resell them! Now they want to sell Garnacho!

Meanwhile they'll stick Amad as a wing back next season to accommodate Mbeumo and Cunha. And guess what'll happen? Amad will struggle in the new role and not have as good a season. Confidence will drop and this time next year he'll be the new Garnacho/Sancho/Rashford! "Quick sign Hakimi - a proper right back! Offer him 500k a week to come!"
 
I wish that Fenerbahce link for Bissouma was real. Why not offer him to Galatasaray? See if they’d take him and we could get some of the money they’ve been throwing around before they get done for money laundering

If I was Levy, I'd troll them by "competing" with them for every player to make sure they "blow us out of the water"

Very good players and mostly play games at a high level. It’s fine lines in football and that’s the difference from being a good player to a very good player. Our midfielders are so inconsistent at times and that’s what stops them being top players. At times we’ve seen Bentancur and Biss look crazy good but their form can drop off a cliff from game to game.

I’d still be happy with an Agoume type who has a ceiling more like Gravenberch tbh.

Happy to be proven wrong by Norgaard but I wasn’t wrong about PEH. Wrong about loads of players thin so wtf do I know
 
I'm really trying to rack my head around where Eze will fit in this current team, I suppose Frank is adaptable so can fit him in but I can't help think someone like Semenyo or Kudus is a much better natural and obvious fit for us than Eze is.
