Hardly worthy of outrage eh.......

I can see another club swooping for Eze if we don't get a move on. Prob Chelsea knowing them.
No - you need to have top quality players with a top coach or it can’t happen. This is what Levy said after the Cup win: "We've won a European trophy. It's not enough. It's what we haven't done that's more important. We need to win the league. We want to win the Premier League. We want to win the Champions League. We want to win."
So in order to do that, you really have to buy top, quality players, or it can't happen.
Let's just see what top quality players we do actually buy.
I dunno mate, Fabinho was pretty fucking good in that position. Gravenberch was an elite 6 last year too.
Unless I’ve got him drastically wrong, Norgaard isn’t Fabinho or Gravenberch level is he?
That model isn't serving Man Utd well, but they are doubling down on it, thinking the change of the manager is the key. Time will tell. I think they just keep digging.Money talks. Newcastle, Woolwich and Spurs were all in for him too but United were willing to multiply his wages by 5. The other 3 clubs would have been a much better career move for him.
Levy won't make Mbeumo our highest paid player and Mbeumo hasn't achieved enough to sign for us and instantly become our highest paid player. I know our model is frustrating but it does have to be consistent. Can't have Mbeumo coming in earning more than double all our other forwards are on. That is how you create a toxic environment! We would probably offer Mbeumo up to 180k but that would still be well short of what United have offered him. He's currently on 45k at Brentford so United have just stupidly hiked his wages to get him.
Am actual DM not a box to box that sits, can spray passes out to left and right
Big thing is Frank knows him & he's experienced, we need prem experience & would be good for a few years whilst Gray develops into whatever position he will end up
Money clearly talks!I can understand why Mbeumo would prefer Man United, in terms of wages, but when you look at what a train wreck they are I'm still surprised anyone would think of signing with them. I don't think Amorim will make it and who knows what comes next after that? I really prefer Mbeumo to Eze but I can't see Levy approving the kind of wages he'll demand.
Do I detect a whiff of sarcasm here?!No he 100% without a doubt implied that he'd spend a fuckload this summer and sack Frank if he didn't win the league.
As good as a promise.
They have no model. They can't sell any players because they put them on such ridiculous wages that if they flop they are stuck with them. Rashford and Sancho are on 700k a week combined and they can't sell them. Meanwhile they are signing similar level players like Cunha and Mbeumo and offering them stupid wages. so if they flop they are stuck with them too and can't resell them! Now they want to sell Garnacho! That model isn't serving Man Utd well, but they are doubling down on it, thinking the change of the manager is the key. Time will tell. I think they just keep digging.
Mbeumo would likely have been better off taking the £180k at Spurs and then off to MLS/Saudi in 3 or 4 years.

Meanwhile they'll stick Amad as a wing back next season to accommodate Mbeumo and Cunha. And guess what'll happen? Amad will struggle in the new role and not have as good a season. Confidence will drop and this time next year he'll be the new Garnacho/Sancho/Rashford! "Quick sign Hakimi - a proper right back! Offer him 500k a week to come!"
Eze walks into our team and makes us better. There should be no hesitation.Eze is a weird one because I arguably think him and Madders play the same position best. I’m all for it, but with Tel and Odobert and of course Sonny that LW feels a bit cramped. RW is where we need the most reinforcement. He’s the quality we need, although not necessarily the easiest fit in the squad, so I understand the hesitation.
No he isn’t but he’s a seasoned premier league player and is a guaranteed starter for his country. I don’t think those other two are top notch. Very good players and mostly play games at a high level. It’s fine lines in football and that’s the difference from being a good player to a very good player. Our midfielders are so inconsistent at times and that’s what stops them being top players. At times we’ve seen Bentancur and Biss look crazy good but their form can drop off a cliff from game to game.
What formation are we playing next season?Eze walks into our team and makes us better. There should be no hesitation.
We are down to semantics , apparently he said it was very very difficult
I'm really trying to rack my head around where Eze will fit in this current team, I suppose Frank is adaptable so can fit him in but I can't help think someone like Semenyo or Kudus is a much better natural and obvious fit for us than Eze is.
