Transfers The Summer Transfer Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

IMHO they’re all pretty bang average.

Sancho maybe flattered to deceive, but none of them really showed enough to warrant the bonkers transfer fees United paid.
It's all personal opinion but I thought they were all very good players before they went there.

Sancho and Onana in the champions league the years previous were excellent. Deligt good enough for Bayern and Juve to see something, Zirkzee obviously a bit slow but technically excellent. Hojlund pacey strong and clinical.

Lyon have been relegated to Ligue 2, we could get a steal price on Georges Mikautadze.

This guy is underrated- Speedy, Skillfull, Ball carrying / 1 on 1's, crossing, Finishing, Long shots, decision making work ethic, Versatile, not a weak fooker either lol ... he's a nightmare for defenders

if united dont overpay, why would any player go there? its a long way off from being how it was in 2010. they are also in a serious rut, you ainty going to risk going there unless you are being seriously caked up for it.

For a Zlatan or Casimiro yeah, but it's a bit sad for it to be with mid-to-lower table players that the current top 6 aren't interested in - again, regardless of quality, if it's "stay at wolves or sign for united... no please - we'll pay you 2 times your wages. Ok 6 times"

The people dismissing Johnson are the people who have always dismissed him.

Top scorer last season.
Scored the winning goal in a cup final and numerous other important goals.

He'll be important for us again this season and he'll still get hate.
Just think we didn't use Johnson properly last season. There's definitely a player in there. He was the top scorer last season that alone proves he is a talent.

but if united didnt snap up cunha then he probably goes somewhere else doesnt he. if they offer 3x his wages and someone else does then hes going somewhere else, madness to go to united now.

theres 7 clubs in the league alone that if they match what united offer, are a more attractive opportunity. how many clubs in europe now do united need to smash out of the water with cash to lure players to them?

I don't know - that's part of my question or observation. Who else was actually in for him?

He's got the career stats worse than Chris Wood

i wouldnt of minded us signing him, he looks a good fit for premier league football.

will be interesting to see how he does at united, theres clearly serious problems going on there. the latest shit with garnacho is further evidence of that.

Yeah obviously opinions differ.

I saw all I needed of Onana in the CL semi final against Ajax! Dived like I would! 😂

Zirkzee’s and Hojlund’s numbers in inferior leagues were pretty meh for forwards.

Sancho tore it up at Dortmund but with talk of attitude issues I’d have passed. DeLigt is probably the only player that I’d have been vaguely interested in if we weren’t playing a high line.
