It seems like the same thing every year - a footballing ADHD.
People complain that nothing is happening in June, ignoring the fact that pre-season hasn't even started. We'll sign/announce some new players in July - sometimes 3 or 4. Come August, people will be moaning again that the club aren't doing anything.
The real irony is that if the club moved for transfers they could get done in June, and "moved early" like "proper clubs", it would just be another moan if someone decent became available later in a position we'd already covered, and we'd be accused of being incompetent in some other way.
My favourite is people have ranted at Levy every transfer window for how we do things and then get themselves all worked up in the next window over...how we do things.
I also like how angry/excited tweets make people. I keep saying it...there are no Spurs ITKs anymore. None. Zilch. But people still have extreme reactions to any made up shit.
Judge the windows in Sept/Feb. Cry more then if you want.
We'll sign Eze in the next 2 weeks and then focus will quickly shift to a CDM. We were never going to sign anyone for big money in June before the QE books closed. Best we could hope for was signing youngsters on the cheap. I'm surprised we even got Tel before July but guess we were just writing off the Harry Kane debt on that one rather than cash outflow.
Like it did last year when people were moaning that we didn't sign Sancho and Sterling, that was funny.
In my defence lots of managers have criticised Levy for exactly the same thing , they are then rubbished for one reason or another . Where my defence has more holes than Swiss cheese is I didn’t like or rate most of them either .

Not sure. Will be Frank who makes the final call but the club want to sell at least one of Son and Richarlison this Summer. If we are moving ahead with Eze then selling Son makes more sense. Eze can replace Son but not Richarlison - we'd need to go back into the market for a 9.
So my guess is we sell Son, sign Eze and keep Richarlison. But a lot of water to go under the bridge before all that gets confirmed! Moving targets.
My mrs is like this. We've been together for about 12 or 13 years now. I've got bad anxiety, and always have had. Can't process planning stuff that isn't an immediate problem. Not a new behaviour - I just have issues with all that "what are you doing next year at 11am on the 2nd Saturday" bullshit.
Still, she will get in a massive strop when I have no mental capability or capacity for stuff like booking holidays and organising over how we'd get to the airport at 6am and what would go in a bag, and what sized bag, and what if it doesn't meet the carry-on criterial for something occurring in 3 months time. Goes in a mood when it turns out I'm still the same person I've always been.
Exactly this. How many of them were dressing guesses up as "ITK" saying Ange would be sack in February. Son has signed a new deal. Poch is coming back. Qatari takeover etc.
I don't think any other club has anywhere near as many pretend "ITK"s combined as we do

Eze, CDM and a left back is our 3 priority signings. I don't beleive we missed out on any targets yet bar maybe Cordosa who looks to have chosen Atletico over us even tho we have no way of being sure if we'd have even triggered that option. Tel agreed to come and signed a perm deal! He didn't even want to join us on loan in January so that was a positive turn.
Mbeumo and Norgaard were both linked with us but I feel like we did a deal with Brentford to show interest just to get their prices up. Both were always signing for United and Woolwich as personal terms were agreed before we even made Frank our manager.
