Not often enough? I can understand if you mean because of injury, but virtually every player suffered that last season and the previous season.Best player on his day… maybe… but those days don’t occur often enough for me and he clearly wants out, so I’d sell and reinvest in a decent player that wants to be here.
This rhetoric about him has been debunked.
Last season he featured in 18 Prem games, the season before 33, so this "theory" that he's only ever fit for Argentina is tosh. When he's fit he plays. Some people are mixing him up with Lo Celso.
He's a Red card waiting to happen: Really? 2 Yellows and 1 Red in the 23/24 season, 3 Yellows this season gone.
He keeps making mistakes: Really? He's made 3 mistakes leading to goals in the 2 seasons he's been with us. As has been shown on here countless times, with him and VDV starting, our form is top 3, and that was under the previous manager.
It is not clear at all that he "wants" to leave. Until he hands in a transfer request, all we have is media speculation and agenda driven nonsense. The only people who will know what his thoughts are, are him, his agent and the club.
Honestly, the willingness to sell off our best players, based on a few clickbait pieces that we see every single season when it comes to Spurs, is ridiculous.
