Agree! This deal under these circumstances (installed payments, 9m a year wages?) should have been wrapped up already.
Just when I allow myself to believe Enic are about to "explode" into the transfer market to back up Levy's bold statement of "we want to win The EPL, The CL, I'm brought down to earth with a bang when still reading we are dithering over a deal like this.
I guess after 55 years supporting our beloved club I should know better. That or I'm just a masochists!

I'm not foolish enough to think his heart belongs to Tottenham, but we've also tabled a contract extension. Until we see whether he signs that or not I'm not putting two and two together as I don't see anything he's said as a clear indication. You may be right, but my issue is that you're taking a lot of circumstantial evidence and moving right onto a verdict.

So they’ve bought one player so far? Who have Newcastle signed? Or Woolwich? Or Villa?

I know people don’t like to hear it but we signed Danso (arranged in Jan) and the Japanese lad. Players are not even back for pre-season yet!

Well he certainly isn’t an “excellent “ player. If he was he would be playing for a better team than us. He has good technical ability but offers the team next to nothing in my opinion . When we were thread bare we needed him at step up, he didn’t , he went missing.
Personally I would let him go, and get a player that offers more to the team. We need better

That sounds like bullshit to me as I thought all the players, bar a few crocks having rehab, were all on their summer hols and weren’t due back at Hotspur Way for pre-season until the start of July?!

Danso is a bog standard budget squad player, we should be signing far better players than him....was already in the squad so adds nothing new.

Punt on a young Asian costing as much as a decent player's annual wage.

Veliz might be a bridge too far, but without even taking the piss, I’m fully expecting to read these exact words from Gold and the other Spurs journos for either Takai or Solomon when Romero or Sonny fuck off.

My money’s on it being Takai this year.
