I’m not shy in saying that I believe him to be a monumental wanker and I’m astounded he is able to post on here without being voted into the bin every six minutes. However, I don’t think his name change was anything to with anything particularly. Probably just wanted to change it. Certainly hasn’t been trying to hide what he was named previously.

Having to sign other team's players at top prices is a sign of a shit football club if you ask me. A good club would be like Barca were a decade or two ago, with La Masia erupting with talent in every position. Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Pique, Valdes, Alba. We should have local lads in our team who are part of the club's DNA.

I saw a stat, and it sounds correct but I haven't validated it - United have had an academy player in every matchday squad for the past 80 years. Fans should be embarrassed that they have to sign players because they don't generate any decent ones, rather than lusting after the next mercenary who doesn't give a shit about our club unless there's a benefit to it

That's called capitalism and it's funny how passionate people are about the money working class men get for their labour but never raise a voice about what evil hustlers in the city get moving money around and hoovering up bonuses that makes footballers wages look like the gig economy.

When we have fixed the corporate environmental pollutiors and arms dealers I'll worry about soccer. I look forward to the socialist utopia with baited breath. As for all this opium of the masses stuff, people spend more a year on video games and concerts those industries dwarf football. Humans spend big on recreation its not particularly revelatory.

It isn't other people's money though is it?

Irving Scholar kick started the destitution of spurs by gambling with our finances. Sugar condemned us to mid table by mismanging the PL era and spending champagne money on panda pop players.

Last thing I'd want is to be a vehicle for PR, glossing over genocide and slavery.

A big deal is made of the Glazers but ENIC are as bad if not worse, at least the Glazer have begrudgingly had to put money in occasionally. What is it? An average of £5m a year they’ve invested into us in their time here? That’s a fucking disgrace and people should be kicking up fuck over it.

Your local builder-done-well who’s started his own company, made a wee bit of money and bought into his local non-league team more than puts a bigger percentage of his own wealth in relative terms into his team than these fuckers put into Tottenham.

Lewis is the real problem here, at least for Levy you can make the argument that he can only piss with the cock he’s got. Lewis is nearly 90 years old and is worth 5 billion quid! He’ll be dead in a couple years, can he not stick in a couple hundred mil and actually compete? What the fuck’s he wanting to do? Build himself a big funeral pyre out of cash?

You have zero control over who owns the club. Your choice is very simple stop watching commenting on engaging with the club if the ownership bothers you. That's it that's all, the lamentation and handwhringing is just performative. The clubs are now owned by billionaires and the going rate is millions for the playing staff. These are facts. That your choosing to be morally exercised about this as opposed to say distribution of aid in Gaza is a luxury. And litigating the eras of Irving scholar nearly 50 years later is proper odd. Any way we have derailed the "transfer thread " (lol) enough 😆 🤣 😄
