Almost agree with you there as I have been saying something similar but more on the lines of stop buying unknown youngsters from
Elsewhere. Develop our own and then buy really quality.

Yeah I get there are other factors involved. Paying a high transfer fee as well as high wages can easily turn disastrous with the wrong player. But if you get good players on a free transfer then the high wages have less impact.
