Club has no intention of buying CL marquee signings,so we deal with the next level down

But so is Romero.
I already quoted this but for clarification:
Romero In the premier league since signing for us:
red cards - 2
Mistakes leading to goal - 3
Last season only:
red cards - 0
errors leading to goal - 0
last 2 seasons combined:
red cards - 0
Errors leading to a goal - 1
(All from the Premier League Statistics)
He isn't a 'walking red card' he's actually a quality hard tackling ball playing centre back who has no more red cards than we should expect. So many people want to sign 'marquee' players but won't recognise one when we already have one.

We’re in the CL, if we offered them the wages and paid the fee, we could take any player we really want from the majority of clubs.

Rice was from Wham

If we went as hard for Wharton from Palace , for example, we’d get him
All I’m saying was Rice was like step 4 or 5 in their process.

Step one, appoint Arteta and Edu.
Step 2, get rid of high paid underperforming stars.
Step 3, invest in youth.
Step 4, develop youth, get Zinchenko and Jesus in to bolster abs genuinely challenge for the title.
Step 5, acquire Rice to take to the next level.

Spending 100M for Elliot and Kudus instead of 68M on Eze makes precisely zero sense.

Kudus is an extremely talented player, but I would be very VERY wary of the professionalism concerns around him. The lavish London facilities and *ahem* questionable competitive mandate at Tottenham make us a uniquely high risk environment for that sort of player, imho.

Rodrigo plays RW usually and they aren’t forking out 100m for a back up to Saka

Sadly Eze makes sense for them as he’s better than Martinelli and Odourguard so can play either position
From what I’ve read and what their fans are saying they want Rodrigo for LW, he only really plays right for Madrid because of Vini. Their lot seem to all prefer Rodrigo over eze as their big winger signing. I do agree eze would make sense for them though covering left and odegaard, would be pissed if he ends up there.

No dickheads…

Except Kudus because they have FFP issues so we can afford him.

Btw LeParisien LeParisien Frank having a no dickheads policy, and Spurs making his first signing one of the biggest dickheads in the premier league???

That my friend, is gloriously ironic. The type of succulent irony that only Tottenham Hotspur can serve up.

Interesting to see how the Frank “no dickheads” policy jouxter poses with the Levy “only dickheads” policy.

Zinchenko and Jesus were pretty much starters at City.

Surely they were the same step as Rice?

Watch Kudus play guys, he’s class. Amazing one on one and a real threat that keeps opposing full backs worried - he offers so much of what we’re missing.

I watched West Ham probably 6 times this season and thought he was their biggest threat every time, the season before he was unreal. I’ve checked in with a couple of West Ham season ticket holders and whilst they became a little frustrated with him towards the end of the season, they also get it. He’s too good to be playing that shitty style week in week out.

Frank needs to have the final call on his application but he’s exactly the type of wide player we’ve been craving.

I’d be buzzing for his signing.

Edit - he’s also only 24. Lots of room for growth still. 👍
Thank you, Kudu's agent

Make no mistake I like him.

Makes complete sense, take the emotion out of it we are getting what we need with just one of those, another right footed 10 that drifts out to the left isn't what we need, we need someone who drifts out the the right
