Kudus is a top player. Incredibile talent.

But you need also a center forward (Solanke a bad signing, not good enough for CL football) and a defensive midfielder.

Jashari: he costs 35m. Plus a top striker.

Vicario
Porro
Vdv
Romero
Udogie
Jashari
Kulusevski
Maddison/Bergvall
Kudus
Sesko/Ekitike/Gyökeres
Odobert

This is very good team. You lack not many players, but they must be the right players.

We’re keeping Solanke.

Deal with it.

Solanke is better than Gyokeres or Sesko. Ekitike is a B-Tech Isak with one half decent season, who I’m hoping one of our rivals waste loads of money on.

Sesko the only one of the 3 who physically could reach a ceiling better than Solanke right now.

Oh ffs, its offseason mate. Nothing happens at this point except gossips and rumours, no matches, no press conferences.

Just put this thread on ignore if you can't handle what is happening here. And yeah, I prefer to read about even very unlikely scenarios re:transfers than going through any of your last posts on this thread.

I can handle it mate, dont worry. No need to get your knickers in a twist.

Wonder if kulu wasn’t injured we’d flog him? 20m for kulu and 30m on Harvey Elliot would be great business

Kudos on the right
A spiteful DM
LB … a good one to rotate with the dog

Gets us back in the top 6

i wouldn't call Elliot as a replacement for Kulusevski great business, just cuz he scored some goals at under 21s. Think that would be the opposite of great business

And Bowen is not going to stay at Wham forever

Throw in £80m plus CL and decent wages he will be agitating for a move

So Wham who need to sell offer us a player they do not want and the little bald one is all over the deal

Levy doesn't see that Bowen is a game changer in term of goals/assist and would transform our front line.He is not a football man ,all he see is price/wages quantity over quality

So Kudus it is ...doesn't matter he is a average inferior player but should be enough to placate a restless fan base that will lap up any signings

These people just never learn
Amen, brother.

So our team it is now generally accepted to have been poorly coached for 2 seasons. We have a new manager who will want to not only implement a different system , but most likely a few different systems as tactical flexibility is one of his main appeals. Yet it appears at time of posting we are some way off getting the three high quality experienced players needed for CL commitments.

I do not believe we will sign 3 experienced high quality players , (not sure anyone on here believes that) . So assuming we do not go for high quality or 1 high quality signing at best , Frank is going to have to work with lesser quality and improve them as individuals and make the team better than the sum of its parts .

I am not sure there is much to disagree with above , it seems balanced to me at least . So personally not getting players in fairly promptly seems negligent . That is the part that some might disagree with. However that means the view is give Frank lesser tools and insufficient time to both improve individuals and integrate a number of playing styles .

Ideally we sign 3 experienced players of high quality promptly , or being a pessimist we sign 3 or 4 lesser quality players but promptly . Surely nobody will be in the defending lesser quality and not even on a prompt basis option

Why don’t you like him out of interest? Nothing I’ve seen gives me cause for concern but I’m happy to hear alternative views.
Where did I say I didn't like him? He's a decent player who's defo got his own USP, but he ain't who we should be buying after finishing 17th and our chairman claiming he's after the PL & CL (I know I know...he's mugging us off). Buying Kudus doesn't move the needle. Period.

I say you don't buy that lad after already wasting money on Tel, but especially not when Bowen is the No 1 to get out of West Ham.
