His quality and contributions are easy to see in all the stats, but I mostly just like him because he's so weird and unique. There aren't other players like him.

He's better than Kulu was in his last season at Juve though.
That Elliott is older matters of course, but it's a similar principle where this is a young talent who just isn't quite managing to force himself into one of the best teams in the world but could clearly emerge if given the opportunity.
Elliot is a better player IMO, though it pains we to say it. I like Kulu and I'd want us to keep him even with Elliot.Elliot is 22
I think hes a better player
But I don’t really rate kulu
The other problem I have with kulu is he prevents us going out and signing someone we could really do with
Debatable
However what youre not factoring in is since then kulu has got worse
His form veers from class to shocking. When he’s good, he’s very goodHis quality and contributions are easy to see in all the stats, but I mostly just like him because he's so weird and unique. There aren't other players like him.
Well first … at least some of us are enjoying that sun …. Give it a go … might surprise youAll of our players got worse, if Elliot was playing in our team last season then people would want him sold or thrown on the scrap heap.
It's real prisoner of the moment stuff in here sometimes...Elliot is a good young player on form coming off a good tournament but its laugabale to suggest that he's better than Kulusevski.
3 G/A in the league and he didn't even feature in half of Liverpool's matches last season.
I think the sun has got to a lot of people's heads in here man![]()
Not sure where I stand with him tbh, it's clear he's cooked as a wide player in the PL as fullbacks have worked out how easy it is to shuttle him onto his weaker foot and stop him cutting inside, he doesn't have the blistering pace or physicality to bully his way past defenders to he doesn't really penetrate the defensive line very well, however he does have a good eye for a pass and is good with his left foot, personally think he's a good utility player but not our best player in any particular position, I think Johnson gives you more of a goal threat from the right and Maddison is better at orchestrating attacks in the final third, I think he might really shine off the right in a 4-3-3 where there is more licence for him to drift centrally without that space being occupied by the 10. He played by far his best football for us under Conte off the right in a 3-4-3 with no 10.The exact opposite. He’s underrated by many on here for no reason other than he looks funny when he moves

We're in a weird spot as well where if you made a list of our 11 most talented players he would definitely be in it but that doesn't necessarily mean the best XI would have him in it.Kulusevski is not good enough to start at either RW or AM. He’s a weird player who forces you to make all sorts of concessions to fit him in the team. Don’t think he’s all that valuable despite having obvious talent.
A lot of our attack’s dysfunction stems from Kulusevski being a major part of it to be honest. Not totally his fault of course as we had many sources of dysfunction under Ange but still. We're in a weird spot as well where if you made a list of our 11 most talented players he would definitely be in it but that doesn't necessarily mean the best XI would have him in it.

I think Kulusevski is brilliant. I'd have him in our team every day of the week.
Who are these freaks who think Harvey Elliott is better? What am i reading today lol
Sure, but I mean the next season under Poch when he'd been slotted behind Soldado and Adebayor again.
He scored 9 goals in 8 cup games before getting his first PL start under Poch. And was pulling up trees every time he was playing at youth level for club and country as well.
And even during that Sherwood period (which was a grand total of 5 starts in the last 6 games) he scored, playing as a second striker, in his first three PL starts. At age 20.
His loans were a mixed bag but Kane was beating the door down from a very young age in a Spurs shirt.
Just to note, I think those players, and Kane, are evidence of the value of loans, which some "play the academy kids" devotees tend to look down their nose at.
A player who reaches 19-20 needs to be playing senior football and can really build their game and their professional understanding in that period.
Tanganga, KWP, and Skipp are all good enough to be backup squad players here, and in some sense I wish they were, but as anything more than that in this league they are pure relegation fodder and would stick out like a sore thumb in our side in the biggest most competitive games.
In the case of Skipp and KWP though, we got real value in the transfer market for them, which is an important goal of youth development, it's not only contributions for the senior team. Tanganga somewhat less so, I do think that's probably the best example of a youth player since Kane we failed to get the most out of.
He looks(ed) lost as a RWF to me.His form veers from class to shocking. When he’s good, he’s very good
