well we did "Consider 30 candidates" for the Coach's role, before landing on "Top Target" Frank... so.....

Is it me, or - like Botox/Plastic surgery is to faces - all new stadia are starting to look the same???
New stadia historically have generally followed trends. One of the previous big changes was back in the 90s/2000s - Derby, Southampton, Middlesbrough, Leicester, etc - all cost-effective bowls, with maybe the option of having a second tier for the main stand (Derby does have this). There are some outliers of course.

I do find Everton's build very 'Bundesliga-like' (Cologne, Moenchengladbach) - nothing much to really distinguish it from the next, as you allude to. I appreciate they were limited by the shape and size of the dock they built on.

Discount the blue seats, and that could be anywhere....
I think Evertonians (y'know, the all knowledgeable, squeaky voiced 'proper fans') will struggle to adapt, as Goodison was instantly recognisable, a bit like the Old WHL & Ibrox... due in most part to the Archibald Leach stand!

Now it just looks like a blue-seated St. Mary's... or Pride Park... or all the others!
The Botox-Bowl does have a ring about it.

Reinforces my hardest working CEO narrative

Some clubs take the easy option of being an attractive proposition to manage . They need a new manager they pick one and he joins . We have made ourselves unattractive adding to Daniel’s work load , then factor in he pretty much has to go through the process every 18 months on average , my chairman💪

Nobody wants answer this question
It was built on a 10 game run right at the start where no team had a clue how to play against us. As soon as we were found out we plummeted.

My expectations for Frank this season are 5-7th with the squad he has today. My biggest concern is CM, we look very weak in that position whereas Ange in that first year still had PEH and a Bissouma that could give a fuck. We need to buy him a CM

100%, though I stupidly live in hope that it's all going to come good in the next week or so. It won't, of course.

At least I was happy for 2 weeks this summer.
The thing that people don't want to accept is that the writing was on the wall when Ange was sacked and we replaced him with Frank. Vinai telling us they conducted a vigorous recruitment process where they had numerous candidates in which the candidates had to meet a 10 question criteria to be identified as our manager.....MY FUCKING ARSE.

Xavi is a fucking winner, his team play attractive football and he promotes youth when it's needed. He also name dropped us and made it clear he would like to manage in the league. I'm a Thomas Frank fan but i can now see it for what it is, he is going to be ENIC's "yes man".

What were the questions because it certainly didnt include "Do you want to win?", "would you like us to sign a few proven players to help us win?"

Still think we will sell and get in a decent load of money in the next few weeks. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see
Romero - 65m
Richy - 35m
Bissouma - 25m
Soloman - 20m
Sonny - 40m

I do wonder if what we’re thinking for the No 6 role will be determined by the extra money that lot could bring in.

Still think he’s likely to be better on the left chopping both ways and putting balls across…. This inverted ting ain’t for all.
He is too slow to beat a man and go outside on the right and too weak with his right foot to mix it up. So he pretty much always cuts inside, and because it's so predictable, he became easy to defend against. He definitely did more damage centrally last season. He's quite good at taking and holding the ball and then sending a more advanced player through. The issue is guess is that maddison is better there creatively but he lacks the physicality of kulu
