We were garbage, pretty much after the win at Villa in the 2023/24 season.
Absolute cannon fodder to any half decent team, and to many that were less than that.
Frank will be atrocious if he is worse in the PL than Postecoglou, and he won't get as much slack.

He had 2 goals and 0 assists in 33 Prem games - I don’t know what people see in this lad. Would cost £50m plus. Tel had 2 goals and an assist in 13 games for us.
I would be livid if we stumped that up for him rather than £10-£15m more for proven quality
Agreed. The notion of Frank being worse than Ange if we finish 6/7th in this first season would be ridiculous - let’s see what the aggregate league position is over 2 seasons.
Frank is the guy that will bring a bit of stability back whilst developing some younger players. I suspect he will be here a couple of years and hopefully get us a couple of Euro place finishes before Levy pulls the trigger again for the next shiny thing

Over Christmas and New Year we were easily top 4 in terms of PPG.

I dunno, you put together the noise with his criticism of Levy, his general availability, the fact that Frank wants his defenders taller and more box repellers, I think it’ll happen if Atleti get serious.
Given what happened the following season It would seem more sensible to view the final 10 games of the first season as the norm, and the purple patches as outliers

If he’s not finished top 5 and won a trophy after 2 seasons, he will have been objectively worse.
If it’s been 2 top 6 finishes, there is maybe a case that he’s building something solid that could be better but his first 2 seasons will have been worse.
Top 8 this season should and will have Frank in the hot seat. Especially if there is a good option available.
It's absolutely shocking how few people still can't see this!
It's not even just about "Angeball" getting found out. It's also about players visibly regressing over time due to poor training and tactics that leave them exposed all the time.
The longer it went on the worse we would have got and eventually it would have been relegation.
I hope he goes there and breaks both his legs in his first training session.

I have no doubt whatsoever that there'll be an instant improvement in how we play under Frank. It might be a lot more defensive but at least we won't have 10 clowns running around the pitch like it's schoolyard footie.

We flirt with this guy for literally years, we then assume we can have him when we want and then look confused when someone actually "puts a ring on it".
Good player at a small club where he can do whatever the fuck he wants, show up or not if he feels like and with no real pressure and expectations. There is (as always) a good chance that he will fail at a big club and in a different system, let's hope that will be the case if he joins Woolwich.
