Right.

Why would anyone be so eager to sell prem proven quality who scores and assists

Many players could be sold before you even glance at kulu
Because sometimes we hold on to players for too long (Dier, Dele, Eriksen, etc). Not saying Deki should go, but if someone offers £70-80m, it may not be the worst outcome. He's not exactly the player that makes everything click. Losing him would impact our depth, but not weaken the starting XI in any significant way. Saying this without knowing how Frank plans on using him, of course.

80M? 😂😂

£70m I think will do it for Wharton. Baleba might be wrong but I can see Brighton putting a £80-100m on him. Wharton would make us a transition nightmare for opposition teams, his ability to pass accurately and quickly into front players is incredible. Think about constantly having Kudus left 1v1 with an exposed defence.

I haven’t seen Wharton play much but from the highlights he seems similar to MGW. Though he seems ro play a little deeper. Not a 6 though. I’d rather we got defensive midfielder who can pass like those two do but defend like kante. Whoever that may be, don’t exactly grow on trees.
It seems AW is more an 8 and MGW an 8 / 10. I also wonder where that leaves Berg, Sarr, Grey and Bent. Could Bent play as a 6? I have my doubts.
All that said it’s great to see we are going for quality

No one is offering anywhere near 80m for Deki. Morgan Gibbs-White is a superior player in just about every aspect and just went for 60m on a clever release clause.

I agree though that he's now one of the more expendable of the lot - these latest transfers render him a handy utility player.

Most people in disagreement with this - fine. But in reality, would we able to fit in Kulu, Kudus, MGW, and Johnson all in our CL squad? If so, how?
By playing 4-2-5-1, we will win the lot!

Daniel Levy is on the jaffa cakes, isn't he?

That makes no sense to any of you AT all.

When I eat a jaffa cake, 30 seconds later, I've eaten half the fucking packet.

Levy was like "Ooh, George Tekei, that was tasty, nomnomnom, Kudus, corr but I'm still hungry, fcuk it keep going, MGW, self pity? Yeah but I'm having another one"

Maybe Levy has developed a spending disorder.

And that folks, is why I'm up at the crack of Dawn in the gym every day. Fcuking Jaffa Cakes.

Personally, when I look at our cm area it's actually sarr that I struggle to see thrive in a frank team.
Biss will be gone I'm sure. Bergvall, bentacur, gray and MGW will be ahead of sarr imo and that's before we potentially bring someone else in which we may or may not do.

I just don't see how are where he fits in a frank team. Hes neither a 6 or a an 8 that can play and dictate. Hes an athlete for sure.

Let's see

I wonder if when Levy Lange and Frank sat down to discuss transfers if Levy offered to sign Eze for Frank and Frank said he’d rather have MGW and then Lange went to work, checking with the player etc, whilst all the focus was on Kudus.
