Yes, I think we all know this. But the EPL, or to use it's unofficial name 'the toughest league in the world' is one of the most popular and it regularly provides strong contenders to the CL. More than most.

LaLiga has won more UCLs in the modern era than any other league. And it’s not even close.
The top 5 players of all time (for me, Messi, Maradona, Pele, CR7, and Cruyff) either never played in England (four of them) or played their prime in another league (CR7). Of the top 10 of all time, maybe one played his prime in England. One!
So, LaLiga dominates the UCL historically, the best players of all time didn’t play in England, and the national team (mostly EPL) never wins anything, but the EPL is the toughest league in the world! Do you know how stupid this sounds?

Thanks for posting these. What amazes me is that he scores these rocket goals with either foot, just incredible. And in his prime one of the fastest players on the pitch. And, he goes out with a trophy. Farewell Mr. Son. Thanks for the memories.

Sonny is the player who has made me smile the most watching Spurs in recent times. An absolute joy to watch in his prime.

Wow. I hadn’t remembered how many bangers he scored from the right side using his left foot.
Managers should have given Sonny permission to switch to the right wing during matches. It would have given defenders nightmares not knowing where he was going to be.

Became a good, but very streaky player. Blossomed into an absolute menace and Golden Boot winner. Settled in as the elder statesman and leader of our first European trophy winning squad in 41 years.
Captain of a trophy winning Spurs team. Special company, that.
Through all the negativity during his tenure, aimed at him personally and at the club, he stayed positive through it all and always loved the badge.
Never threatened/begged to leave like pretty much everyone else from the Harry teams to present.
