Ex-Spurs Player Heung-Min Son (손흥민)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yes, I think we all know this. But the EPL, or to use it's unofficial name 'the toughest league in the world' is one of the most popular and it regularly provides strong contenders to the CL. More than most.

Anyway, stop being nasty to people. it's a tough time!

:sonmask::sonpoint:

You can build Sonny up without tearing others down.

LaLiga has won more UCLs in the modern era than any other league. And it’s not even close.

The top 5 players of all time (for me, Messi, Maradona, Pele, CR7, and Cruyff) either never played in England (four of them) or played their prime in another league (CR7). Of the top 10 of all time, maybe one played his prime in England. One!

So, LaLiga dominates the UCL historically, the best players of all time didn’t play in England, and the national team (mostly EPL) never wins anything, but the EPL is the toughest league in the world! Do you know how stupid this sounds?

Yes, it’s garbage. The “he can’t cut it here anymore because it the toughest in the world” is so lame. Sonny can’t perform at the level we have expected from him at any of the top leagues in the world, like LaLiga, Serie A, and the Bundesliga.

There are multiple leagues that are very challenging for different reasons. Palinha was a monster in the EPL but did very poorly on the best club in the Bundesliga.

La Liga is extremely technical and tactical. Even the worst teams in that league “play” with the ball. They typically don’t huff it up and try to play like the lower level EPL sides.

The Bundesliga is also very physical and tactical.

Serie A is very technical and tactical, but not as much as LaLiga.

They’re all tough!

This is Sonny's day... Piss off with this crap.

(You're concurrently peddling the same shit in another thread atm........ Perhaps take the chip on your shoulder back there instead.)

They didn't play in the league because they knew they couldn't hack it...... :bissoumahear:

Who knows. Would have been interesting to have seen them each in their prime.

Sonny is the player who has made me smile the most watching Spurs in recent times. An absolute joy to watch in his prime.
Although gutted to know he is going. I think it's probably for the best as I would not want to watch his decline in a Spurs shirt, rather remembering the fantastic times instead.
Thank you Sonny for all the brilliant memories.

Why don’t you shut the fuck up and stop trying to police this board? You really are a fucking annoying cunt.

It’s you that’s derailing this thread not him, he’s making some fair points and even if it’s not directly about Son, it doesn’t need you to try and tell him what opinions he’s allowed to express.

Wind your fucking neck in and have a day off from being a fucking loser.

I'll miss him so much.

Proper career development. Struggled in his first season, so much that many wrote him off as a marketing signing (and in fairness many did from the very start). Became a good, but very streaky player. Blossomed into an absolute menace and Golden Boot winner. Settled in as the elder statesman and leader of our first European trophy winning squad in 41 years.

Captain of a trophy winning Spurs team. Special company, that.

Through all the negativity during his tenure, aimed at him personally and at the club, he stayed positive through it all and always loved the badge.

Never threatened/begged to leave like pretty much everyone else from the Harry teams to present.

Yiddo.
