I think Ange will do well with them. They've some good players. Injuries will be the big problem and avoiding them.

There is a strong theory that Ange's style is what causes the injuries so this will test that narrative! I always felt that wasn't the case and that we just have loads of injury prone players!

He might do.

They will be utter carnage for the first few games, as they look to adapt and then routinely get found wanting at the back.

It's going to be really interesting, and potentially cathartic knowing that Ange did it for us, but eventually we saw the flaws, was rightfully sacked and then he goes to a club that people have turned on of late and completely bombs and their owner starts to run out of ideas.

Nothing but respect for Ange for the cup win and a few things he said about fighting for Spurs against all the noise, and I did enjoy his early press conference, but he wasn't my favourite manager come the end.

Perhaps the MO from Marinakis is to win the Europa and just about survive the league, and thats why he has gone for Ange.
The thing is it took a while for teams to work Ange out as we were his first gig in the Premier league, if he comes in and just plays the same way but with different players his card will already be marked

Postecoglou won't take Forest down.. I eoupd put money on that.

I do think going in now, for any manager, when Santo seemed popular and with a way of playing is a big challenge, but the hardest will be the 2 games per week.

Whoever goes in, Forest ain't finishing top 8 this season. More likely bottom 8.

No doubt they will beat us of course, although the person who ultimately sacked Postecoglou, (if him) has also been moved on.
Really?

I'm not sure how you can be so confident, aside from the lack of a pre-season with the players, you can almost compare like for like against us last season, as Forest will also have Europa to contend with.

If you think it's impossible that he gets this Forest squad into the bottom 3, is that because you feel that this Forest squad is simply much more talented than the squad he was working with at Spurs?

Normally you would say they are safe more from the quality of the league , mind you this season none of the recently promoted clubs sit in the bottom 3 after 3 games, Sunderland have bought in some good players as well so my money is on them staying up, Leeds might also surprise us so this season who knows , if he suffers a injury plague like he did for us and goes deep in the EL then yeah its possible they go down!

The Forest fans have been on here scouting their new man, I don't think the findings did much to ease their concerns...

🤣🤣🤣

I'd almost feel sorry for them, if I weren't so sure that this is going to be the most entertaining 10 game spell of football I've ever seen, before he gets fired following a post-game punch up with the chairman on the pitch.

Probably depends on what injuries Forest have.
Whether the Europa run showed him there are other ways to win trophies.
He's probably learnt that you can't half arsed the league to chase cup success

People seem certain he'll be exactly the same again but I'm not sure , he had massive success previously, and had no reason to change.
the premier league was the first time he was humbled, at least league position and performance wise.
I wouldn't be surprised if he does a few things definitely, not major but slight changes especially away from home
