The thing is had Sissoko not given the penalty away in the CL final who knows what might have happened, thats the thing with finals , sometimes you need a bit of luck on the night, I agree though we faced a horrid united team but we had already beaten them 3 times that season, I think Ange just had the players believing they were meant to win that night, counter that to the CL and it was like we were just happy to reach a final.
I think you mean if the ref hadn't blatantly been in the Dippers pocket?

'Pool should have finished that match with 10 men at least.

Back in a job at one of only 6 English teams to have won the European cup. Incredible scenes.

And people on here said he wouldn’t get another job. Clueless!!
Not Ange. You.
You know who you are.

Anyone fancy a game of Postecoglou press conference bingo?

My 5 picks over the next few months.

I always win things in my second season.
It’s who I am mate.
Sleeping giant.
He’s got a hamstring injury.
I don’t look at the league table mate.
"i've been doing this 25 years mate"

Ange? A mate of yours as well. Nice.

I didn't see too much of this entertaining football you think he will bring to Forest.

Incredible that within hours of Santo being sacked, Postecoglou agrees to be the next manager.

I don't care what Postecoglou does at Forest if I am beeing truthful, but somewhat like Trump and Musk and their relatively brief bromance,I don’t see this lasting too long or being too successful.

If wrong, I'll put my hands-up.
Game of opinion. I thought Ange had us playing brilliant football when he had his perfect conditions (a week between games and a fully fit squad). In my opinion, his biggest issue was that he showed zero adaptability when he didn't have his perfect conditions.

I think he'll start well at Forest. I'll be cheering for them this weekend against Woolwich anyway! If the entire backline gets injured and he doubles down on his attacking philosophies again then yes he's just not cut out for the top level. This forest stint will answer alot of unanswered questions about Ange. Everyone has an opinion and some strongly believe he was at fault for everything last season including our injury list. I think some of it is debatable and this Forest stint will offer the answers.

Think about the Morgan Gibbs-White freak out regards the clause being told to Spurs. 'Big Ange' is on 'Big pussy Bompensero " rat settings.
people scoffed when i said it was an ange rat fuck.

Literally couldn't string 3 passes together, the one occasion we did get control of the ball and play some very basic football we got in on goal (Udogie -> Solanke) but the players looked genuinely surprised to be in that position and cocked it up.

That win wasn't any kind of tactical victory, it was very very fortunate, if that Johnson effort hadn't fluffed it's way in off of a stray Luke Shaw bosom then that game would have gone to the lottery of pens, as neither side had any quality about them whatsoever.
Them having the human donkey known as Andre Onana in goal also helped.
