I wonder if the PL, who had all but sussed out Ange last season (22 losses, mate) will just apply that same logic when playing Forest?

Defend deep and narrow. Push everyone out wide and watch the never ending horseshoe passing.

Ange will succeed or fail on the strength of the coaching staff he brings in

Especially as the squad just isnt that well suited to what he wants

High quality coaches and he might pull it off

Jedinak and co again? Itll be a car crash

Very rich men tend not to give 2 fucks about what they wear or look like.

Being very rich is already the achievement.
I think Cristiano Ronaldo & David Beckham would disagree!

See if I'm being honest had it not been for the MGW saga I would be wishing him well at Forrest, obviously not when they are playing us but i certainly wouldn't have been hate watching them and taking enjoyment from them getting pummelled, but after what that fat fucker of a chairman done that to us with MGW and holding him hostage I wish him nothing but misery ( except for when it benefits us or he is playing Chavs , Goons or United)
Greeks gonna Greek! :angeshock:

What if, MGW was wanted by Ange and it was actually Ange that he told the "secret" clause details to, which were then passed to the club?

Then Ange, who know longer works with Spurs and didn't (yet) work for Forest could have provided the legal evidence if needed that the confidentiality was broken on the clause....

And just to take it even further, Ange said he wanted a job in exchange for the boon and that's why they have been recruiting players for him all summer.... Think about it, McAtee, N'Doye, Bakwa, Kalimuendo, Hutchinson... all of those are Ange signings much more than Nuno players.
OOOOOOR, MGW sees Ange for the type of manager he is and wants out immediately!
OOOOOR,MGW isn't Ange's sort of player (though I think he might be) and he bombs him out in January!

Mate you literally laughed when I said it on June 16th (which I have just found). I said this(it's on the deleted MGW thread):

"I wouldn't be at all surprised if MGW was a target last season and Ange told his fat Greek mate when they met weeks back that Levy was aware of his release clause."

Now you're trying to go on like you think it's possible? Tbh it wasn't only you that laughed and a bozo poster staying "it was in my head" with many agrees. I don't want any of the likes and agree people cosigning my post now..

I'm Dexter Morgan..I work solo..fuck pack mentality.

Not me. I was saying Ange was going to Forest from waaaay back. You’ve got me mixed up. I got laughed at to the fullest from everyone telling me Ange would never work in the PL again

Wow! I knew there were rumours about this exact scenario, but I didn't expect it to actually happen. You have to feel sorry for Nuno. He seems like a reasonably solid manager, yet keeps ending up at places that want more than that.

As for Ange at Forest, well it's going to be interesting, to say the least. I've made no secret on here that I feel he was somewhat shabbily treated by the Tottenham board and a certain section of our fanbase, so I guess we'll find out for sure if I was wrong or not.

Either way I don't think he'll take Forest down (well not this season anyway...) and I think they've an outside chance of winning a trophy such as the Carabao, or god forbid the Europa League. If you offered that to most Forest fans right now, I'm sure they'd bite your hand off.

I like Ange and I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Foresr so I'd like then to do well, just not at the expense of Spurs. Although given we're in the same league, if they do have any success, it almost certainly will be. I wouldn't be entirely surprised to see Forest finish above us this season to be honest.

At the very least I can hope he wins his first game in charge. After that who knows? It's going to be compelling viewing that's for sure.

Seen a few of them bring out what a lot in the media are saying. Eg first season he finished 5th and we had injuries last year.

Missing the point that other then that first 10 games we was constantly hanging around relegation form and the injuries where caused by the mental play style

Wont last the season
