Frank is our poorest manager of recent vintage at creating narrative chum to fuel our supporters tearing each other apart. How can we run a message board this way?

This is my big issue with Frank. Every game now we have long periods of being absolutely hopeless and can't make anything happen up top. It can't be excused as tactical this evening, given the opposition. This is an issue that's not going away. It needs addressing quickly, because it's not sustainable.
That's got all the hallmarks of a Levy "deal".Also, if he really did sanction the Tel move (I have my doubts)
After 8 games this season we are 5-1-2, F16-A5. Last season 5-1-2, 17-6.
All about perceptions, innit?

Of course.
Nasty work, you had it down as a loss when we didn't even lose in normal time.
What?
They changed the rules of football a losses on penalties now count as draws?
Give it up.
The point about perception is massive because most people watch the game with a pre conceived perception before it starts and see mostly what their confirmation bias wants them to see.
With Frank, though, the difference between this season and last season is pretty objective. We are less risky in possession, so we are much more solid defensively. We are also much smarter at transitioning through the phases defensively. We aren’t as fluid in an attacking sense but we are getting regular goals from set pieces.
Essentially, the good results under Ange felt less secure but were more exciting and the good results under Frank feel less exciting but much more repeatable and secure.
If you're comparing records with our previous manager and claim they have identical records and the only thing that's separating them is perception then you're being totally disingenuous.
You don't need to tell me about 'confirmation bias' in regards to Ange, we all know how he has been perceived in football but using it as a comparison in this context is bullshit.
It wasn't a friendly, glorified or whatever. And we lost.Comparing a glorified friendly which was lost on pens to a competitive match, yeah nothing disingenuous about that at all lol
The comparison doesn't work unless they manage identical matches - how does the comparison between the Prem records stand up?
Not quite, given one of the 2 was against the best club team in the world, who we took to pens, after being the better team! After 8 games this season we are 5-1-2, F16-A5. Last season 5-1-2, 17-6.

The other thing is that Ange was 13 / 14 months into his tenure then. Give Frank a chance! What?

3 points more than last season for EPL games.
