ENIC In or ENIC Out

Looking forward to finding out what a post Levy Spurs looks like in a months time.

Been a fan since 1994, meaning of the 31.5 years I've been a fan, the club has been under a Levy cloud for 66% of it.
The unknown might be better even if it's actually worse. Just because it's a horrible feeling to expect the worst and repeatedly get it.

But what about the other 34%?

Depressing seeing Woolwich announce a double of Platt and Bergkamp, meanwhile we have to see Alan Sugar spunk a similar amount on Chris Armstrong, Andy Sinton, and Ruel Fox to replace Popescu and Klinsmann (both of which the business genius had his pants pulled down over).

Alternative highlights were waiting for the arthritis to kick in so we could finally sign a once-was-decent player for 2x their value.

Joe Lewis relinqued significant control of Tottenham since 2022.

All I'm saying that the person you are blaming was a puppet for ENIC, now that the puppet has gone the puppeteer will still be pulling the strings, they'll just find their next puppet to manage, whether it'll be Vinai or Charrington or whoever.
Just to clarify your position.....

You were very much 'ENIC IN' all the time that Levy was their CEO.
But now he's gone, your very much 'ENIC OUT'

So, much as we all suspected, for you, everything was about Levy. First and foremost, you were a Daniel Levy fan.

And to think people used wet their pants when some of us referred to him as a cult hero or father figure to some of you 😂

You've singlehandedly justified the term 'Levy Fanboy' old chap. Well done 👏

But I've made no secret of that though :porrohands:, the man was a legend unfairly vilified by folk who naively targeted the wrong person, now the fanbase are waking up to the real problem, well congratulations I guess.

These aren't 'wins' mate, you're just finally catching up to what I've been saying or years, took you a while...

He's literally hoping for the club to be in a disaster.

Chapping at the bit to come onto this thread and exonerate Levy.

It started with a bang.
Klinsmann, Dumistrescu, Popescu. Fighting (and beating) the FA.
Beat Woolwich and finished above them. Went 10 games unbeaten under Francis.
FA Cup Semi final for the currently record 8 times winners.
Beat Arse again the next season at home and drew away.
I was a young teenager back then and it was all far more exciting tbh.
I would guess, looking back, that older fans hated it, but for me, it felt like we could win cups and we did beat Woolwich, United, Newcastle, Blackburn and Liverpool (top teams at the time) unlike these days where the top teams walk all over us all the time.

I wouldn't say it started with a bang because we didn't win any of our first 4.

I do think, overall, what you're describing is the apathy/adaption to finishing in the top 4. There were times where we way more satisfied with what little we got (e.g. finishing in the top 8) that has melted away into a loftier expectation that has soured the overall experience. Similar to people generally being much happier, like Burnley fans I guess, winning the 2nd division with 100 points and goals versus being battered about in the bottom 3 of the top tier.

It'll be similar with Wrexham fans, who may be happy to stay up in the Championship, but will soon be completely pissed off with wasting season after season not threatening promotion - yet 2 or 3 season ago they were delighted to be staying in the football league. People's enjoyment of anything is based on perception and context, and I don't think we'd enjoy the Jol or Redknapp seasons anywhere near as much if they were happening right now.

What I do remember about the 90s was how Sugar always found an angle to ruin anything decent we had.

Awwwwww look, the smarmy glt that wants other posters to go out and abuse women... Being an arrogant twat again, looking down on people because he thinks better than everyone else.

The man who cried that the Frank out thread, was full of anti levy people looking for a new Scape goat... At the time 130 voted, only 6 voted out at the time 🤣

Laughed and mocked people who said the club isn't being sold - Here we are the clubs still hasn't been sold 🤣

Your track record is not very good on a lot of things.

It's sad seeing someone so deluded, trying to look down on people.

Have a hug, it's clear you need one 🤗

It's going to be interesting.

Not expecting much from Jan window, and for, this season is a right off. But I would like to too see a couple of critical areas covered though.

As long as we don't finish 17th I'll be happy.

Again, you're justifying the term Levy fanboy.
Your were ENIC IN with Levy. But you're ENIC OUT without Levy.
Whereas most of us are just ENIC OUT, which obviously included Levy.😆

It's funny watching you dig yourself in deeper

Once again I'm happy to be a Levy fanboy, I've made no secret of it on my time here - why all of a sudden now it's a problem when I've literally said I respect him for what he's done with the club, this isn't news lol

These aren't wins mate, the fact that it's taken you so long to process this reflects badly on you.

What are we even arguing here.

Long live the King!

Sacked and not even able to get to the training ground anymore - as he fucking deserves the poisonous little viper.

It's been about six years since the new stadium opened, the six years prior to it opening the team were better, didn't win trophies but a stronger side without doubt. I reckon Jol's and Reknapp's teams before that would have wiped the floor with our present lot. We were lucky to have an academy player Harry Kane, because if he'd have gone through another team's academy, there is absolutely no way we'd have paid the money to sign him in his prime. Nor would he have wanted to join.

Kane wouldn't exist in the modern game TBH - clubs don't seem to give academy players a chance to show much in the 'key' positions (e.g. 1 up front or the GK).

For me, the Redknapp years were peak because we had two full strength 11s, plus he'd happily throw games out to academy prospects away in -1 temps at Lufdenboggolog AK. Plus we didn't really need ITK as Harry would wobble his chops to any mic about everyone we were scouting.

Poch's era (despite popular belief) ruined the academy side, and the Mourinho/Conte era brought in a lack of identity for the club IMO. The Ange era was a shit version of the Redknapp one, without rotation or a academy. I don't really feel like Frank is getting a fair judgement coming in to clean up having to rebuild something from a squad that has had no Maddison or Kulusevski, and not a lot of Solanke or Udogie, and no Son.

Briefings like this and what has come before it are very new owners type of shite. Have they not learned anything in the past 24 years they've actually owned the club?!? This is the sort of stuff that the Indian brothers came out with after buying blackburn, your man who bought Cardiff and wanted to change their colours, hulls owner etc it's all tinpot stuff that eventually came back to bite them in the ass because they failed to match their briefings.
All this shite about wanting to win more often, these bastards have been the power behind the throne for last 24 years where the fuck was the backing during that period?!?
Clowns

Until they actually do it nobody is impressed. Just words. Make the signings then talk.

TBH it's the equivalent of when a company claims to have learnt from really bad employee feedback, and after all the noise about being engaged and caring, you get free fruit in the office and a 'discretionary' bonus of about £40 at christmas.
