Player Dominic Solanke

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Solanke isn't injured. Not in any conventional way at least.

Similarities with the Princess of Wales scenario when she disappeared from public life without any plausible explanation.

Personal issues. Legal issues. Psychological issue, Illness.

Who knows. But there's something going on either he or the club, or both, don't wish to disclose.
Possibly.

I think at this stage nothing can be certain or ruled out.

It is unquestionably baffling, mostly because of Frank talking of a minor operation 2 months ago.

My God. If he said major we would be talking 2030 and at the end of Solanke's contract.
Lol good stuff, we're reaching the old conspiracy theory spot

Remind me of fans being convinced lamela wasn't injured but was in fact a cocaine addict and or transitioning
Is this worst than that time Lamela went for a sex change? :lamelaaghh:
I think the entire CLUB is still suffering long term after effects from that FUCKING LASAGNE!

After THAT incident, nothing surprises me any more!

Either that, or they've all got VERY LONG COVID!

Footage only from a handful of games last season but also a reminder that Solanke is a very decent multi functional centre forward.
I know it's a highlights reel, but it shows undeniably that he does have all the attributes to be hugely useful if he could just get and stay fit. He's a much better footballer, technically and game-reading-wise, than many on here give him credit for (perhaps because some confuse being injured with being shit - which I guess is understandable if you don't think it through properly, as the impact on us is much the same).

If he does ever come back and if he does then get to full and consistent fitness, he could make a huge difference. But that second 'if' is a major concern obviously. :(

Players do recover from injuries.
Not at our club :levywtf:

In any event, if he is not seen again this year as appears more and more likely, he will be 29 years old at the start of next season. We cannot expect him to become a better player or more reliably fit at his age.

Because he helped us in Europa we can't say it was another Ndombele, but the signing was pony. B'mouth laughed all the way to the bank

We'll do the same to Semenyo if we sign him...
He'll be out by next Christmas, and have to retire from football in early 2027!

If not, and he goes somewhere else, expect him to play 50+ consecutive games for them, winning the Titie & Balon d'Or while he's at it!

All I know is we aren’t being given the whole picture. If the surgery hasn’t sorted it out then he will probably require further work on it. He should be back running by now, the procedure was ages ago. If he isn’t then there’s been a problem or the surgery wasn’t successful and he needs more.
We most certainly AREN'T being given the whole picture...
But it's nothing to do with the surgery!
