Player Dominic Solanke

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Nope, because there are strong rumours of one or two PL players having had gay encounters. And I will not divulge who.

I think if a footballer had come out as gay and the reaction was really negative, then I think it would be an inhibitor. I also think that it would be more difficult in the current climate than maybe 18 months ago.

The temperature around the acceptance of diversity has definitely moved to a cooler setting.
OK, I didn't realise being gay would be a "inhibitor "
I can only imagine that only affects all the backward bellend homophobic cunts

I think, with no proof whatsoever that it would make taking to the pitch and performing at the expected level, if not impossible, then very difficult.

Let's be clear, I am NOT saying that is the reason for Solanke's absence. On that I have no idea and neither does anyone else on here.

I just think that if being gay wasn't an issue, more players would be openly gay. They aren't and for me that says everything.

I don't necessarily think that would make the majority of people as you describe however. I think it would be more going with the flow of others until such time as it was pointless.

At some point I do think 2 unrelated as in not a relationship together, gay and prominent footballers may 'come out' at the same time. But I have also thought I would win the lottery and see aliens. To date none of that has occurred, although one or two posters on here might be from outer space.

Means more Brennan Johnson though

I don't think Solanke is gay either
My point is if he was it would only anger the bigots
Surely none on this forum
