Yip but he's a deep lying playmaker, a Carrick type, so really we could have him and Simons, Stiller can cover the DMF role, tackling isn't his best attribute, but he's good at breaking up play with his positioning and anticipation. His best attribute is being an elite passer.

I'd prefer that to a Palhinha type player who is best at tackling and duels but after making the tackle produce a nothing pass sideways or backward.

we got simons and dropped our player of the year last year for him....for simons. he wasnt needed, hes not an upgrade on bergvall. the money could have gone into someone that actually upgrades out first 11.

Well all we can do is hope he gets up to speed with things in the Premier League.

I looked at his stats for last season apparently P-25 ... G-10... A-7.

He hasn't played that well this season, but who in the team has?

Don’t make decisions based on a single data point.

Anderson is a quality player who will likely have his pick of top sides.

He doesn’t strike me as someone who will find the allure of London particularly compelling.

Forest will probably receive multiple bids. They’re still involved in Europe and fighting relegation. I don’t know if they will entertain us after the MGW fiasco.

That's not true. Ndombele had 1 excellent season for Lyon - which promoted many big clubs to go after him. Unfortunately, Spurs were the club that ended up buying him...
