This. His time with Forest showed us lessons had been learned, and your opinion would probably be correct.
But Spurs were on a very bad downward spiral. After 3 consecutive wins in February the record for the last 12 games were:
9 losses.
2 draws.
1 win (against already relegated Soton).
The last game at home was 1-4 vs Brighton.
And you could feel he's lost the dressing room. It was time for him to go.
Frank also did very well in Europe - he was just a few minutes away from winning over Europe's best team, PSG, in the UEFA Super Cup - and Luis Enrique admitted that Spurs were the better team. And Spurs also finished 4th in the CL table.
Yep should be interesting. The Tottenham stuff I don't think there's much more he can say we don't already know really.

For context Ange is the only manager in Premier league history to get 26 points in his first 10 games and not get top 4. Riddle me that.
I put in the 10 games statistic so show that we were NO chance of getting relegated.
Ange said at the time that he was cocentrating on EL, and as a manager, I think he made the right decision.
With all the injuries, there was no chance that we were going to finish 4th and get CL qualification.

I don't remember him rotating much until April, and even when players returned, we were shit.

Ange won a competition we were always favourites for against what was mainly a bunch of second rate opposition. Yes he had to do it and get the monkey off the clubs back but it really was, or at the very least should've been an expectation that we would win it. Yes it was fantastic and was my best night as a spurs fan personally, but that doesn't automatically erase what was otherwise a terrible season.
He was an absolute fucking dud otherwise, twenty two league defeats last season. Twenty two, and we finished 17th. Nobody deserves to keep their job after that. The revisionism is unbelievable, though expected. We've seen he's a pig headed cunt so no surprise he sees nothing wrong with his time here and takes no blame.

Our league form was in free fall and then he went to Forest and lasted 39 days (6 defeats, 2 draws)!
I’m grateful for the cup, but why is it the Ange fanboys can’t see that the competition in Europe is extremely weak in comparison? Frank has been similarly woeful, yet we finished top 4 in the Champions League - that should say it all really!

We'd have a 100% league record imo. Probably would've joined and won la liga for the fun of it too. Ange would be up for a knighthood about now if he stayed.
It does not matter if Europe is weak or strong, the trophies are there to be won and we won one and beat United to boot in the final. That has been one of my best days as a supporter for a long time and I am grateful to Ange for being the manager. All those that shit on him need to try and achieve what he has instead of hurling insults left right and center. Just all mouth and trousers with no backbone!
