I hope everybody realises that his actual overlap interview is next week. This was just a quick section he agreed to come in early for because Frank had been sacked. So there will be more to come.

This. His time with Forest showed us lessons had been learned, and your opinion would probably be correct.FACTS
2022/2023 We finished 8th.....No Europe.
2023/2024 We finished 5th.....missed out on 4th by 2 points.
2024/2025 We finished 17th....BUT
- We were NEVER a chance for relegation. The last 10 games we won 1, drew 1 and lost 8.
- We had the worst injury crisis ever.
- We won the EL Cup AND qualified for CL in 2025/2026.
OPINION
If we had kept Ange on, we would have won the Super Cup against PSG, and we would probably now be in the top 4 on the table.
They should of backed him for the transfers he wanted.....Neto, Mbeumo, Semenyo, Guehi.
And he'd have the dressing room 100% behind him.
All the wannabe armchair critics on here think he was a bad manager?
Looks like a bloody impressive record to me!
But Spurs were on a very bad downward spiral. After 3 consecutive wins in February the record for the last 12 games were:
2 wins out of 16 games and you back Frank? He is a prick. He will never manage a top club again.
Ryan mason would have won that Europa league.
He’s up there with Juande Ramos.
He is actually below Frank in my eyes as Frank got truly fucked by the board.

For context Ange is the only manager in Premier league history to get 26 points in his first 10 games and not get top 4. Riddle me that.If you're gonna bring up nuance and context, then do it for both side of the argument, and don't cherry pick 17th whilts ignoring fifth and a Europa Cup.
Its lore now that we focused on the Europa at the expense of the league as the primary objective last season, this season and next season and everyone after, is Champions League football. After his interview yesterday we now know Champions League money is critical for investing in new players.
We were never getting relegated, if we were than a different approach would have been taken.
I put in the 10 games statistic so show that we were NO chance of getting relegated. But Spurs were on a very bad downward spiral. After 3 consecutive wins in February the record for the last 12 games were:
9 losses.
2 draws.
1 win (against already relegated Soton).
The last game at home was 1-4 vs Brighton.
And you could feel he's lost the dressing room. It was time for him to go.
Frank also did very well in Europe - he was just a few minutes away from winning over Europe's best team, PSG, in the UEFA Super Cup - and Luis Enrique admitted that Spurs were the better team. And Spurs also finished 4th in the CL table.
Yeah Ange said that, after the fact, cause he's shit. He also said the league is the barometer of how good you are, but he doesn't say that anymore. I wonder why?I put in the 10 games statistic so show that we were NO chance of getting relegated.
Ange said at the time that he was cocentrating on EL, and as a manager, I think he made the right decision.
With all the injuries, there was no chance that we were going to finish 4th and get CL qualification.
Would you rather have finished 7th or 8th?
I prefer the cup win.
Why do think Frank couldn't win over the players?
Because they 100% backed Ange and his front foot game plan.
Ange won a competition we were always favourites for against what was mainly a bunch of second rate opposition. Yes he had to do it and get the monkey off the clubs back but it really was, or at should've been an expectation that we would win it. Yes it was fantastic and was my best night as a spurs fan personally, but that doesn't automatically erase what was otherwise a terrible season.
He was an absolute fucking dud otherwise, twenty two league defeats last season. Twenty two, and we finished 17th. Nobody deserves to keep their job after that. The revisionism is unbelievable, though expected. We've seen he's a pig headed cunt so no surprise he sees nothing wrong with his time here and takes no blame.
AgreedWhat a fucking snide little cunt, what, your replacements both get sacked on the same night and that's licence for you to crawl out of the woodwork and prolong your time in the limelight that bit longer on the Overlap sticking the boot in on the club you once professed to have some special affinity with? Notice Pochettino managed to give an interview about us just last week and has done so in the past with us in a similar position in the table without shitting all over us, despite having far more licence to do so and having managed one of our two arch-rivals for a season, giving him free reign to cut ties with us.
I think you are a cunt and I have never met you!He is a prick. He will never manage a top club again.

In fairness …. It’s not just us. There’s a fair few thousand in the midlands that think he’s a cunt as wellFACTS

We'd have a 100% league record imo. Probably would've joined and won la liga for the fun of it too. Ange would be up for a knighthood about now if he stayed.FACTS

It does not matter if Europe is weak or strong, the trophies are there to be won and we won one and beat United to boot in the final. That has been one of my best days as a supporter for a long time and I am grateful to Ange for being the manager. All those that shit on him need to try and achieve what he has instead of hurling insults left right and center. Just all mouth and trousers with no backbone!I really don’t know what more there is to discuss on a potential season 3 of Ange!
Our league form was in free fall and then he went to Forest and lasted 39 days (6 defeats, 2 draws)!
I’m grateful for the cup, but why is it the Ange fanboys can’t see that the competition in Europe is extremely weak in comparison? Frank has been similarly woeful, yet we finished top 4 in the Champions League - that should say it all really!
I’m m okay with that. You’re most probably a cunt too.I think you are a cunt and I have never met you!
Gosh do you think I am being a tad judgemental about this?
