Kinsky, Souza, Dragusin, Olusesi, Sarr, Gray, Williams-Barnett, Tel, Richarlison

I’d rather see Richie, Solanke and Muani as a narrow front three or a front two. The one up top is just getting isolated and the numbers deeper is not making us more solid or making it easier to play out. I don’t see us suddenly turning into a good footballing side so we might as well go more direct and have numbers in the final third, we’re playing players out of position at centre back and wingbacks who aren’t wingbacks.

If fit...

3 5 2

Vicario
Danso Dragusin Van De Ven
Porro Palinha Gallagher Sarr Souza
Solanke Kolo Muani

Spence, Gray, Xavi, Richarlison off the bench to offer impacts wherever necessary.

This starting XI, until players return is our best chance for getting points on the board.

Much as I wish we would, my hope is that we don't lose.

Fulham are good and even harder to beat on their home ground.
they are very hard to beat cuz of there pitch is very small
similar to us with the white hard lane
The pitch at
Craven Cottage
(Fulham FC) measures 100 x 65 metres, making it the smallest pitch in the Premier League for the 2025/26 season. The pitch at the former
White Hart Lane
stadium (Tottenham Hotspur) was slightly larger at 100 x 67 metres.

We need to see something here.
A win would be great but seems very unlikely.
A draw with a decent performance would be good.
At this stage even a loss in which we see consistent effort throughout and a clear system at work would be something.

If we have another limp nothing performance it's hard to see where we go from there.

I think we're a bit too far gone for the good performance, no results thing, especially against teams that aren't top 6 calibre. We need to be getting results in games like these or we are absolutely toast.

Do I have faith we will? That I'm not so confident of.

Got to shore up that midfield and Palinha for all his efforts isn't a CB.

We dont have enough fit players and we need to start with the basics which fundamentally are playing players in their positions.

I'm not a fan of his either but with no Romero and no natural wingers, we need width and only really gain that through utilising our full backs and wing backs. A flat back 4 won't allow us the possibility to do so.

Why are we implementing a make-shift fullback set up. I mean putting a midfielder as a RB, and a RB as a LB??????

Both sides are more vulnerable with this approach I guess.

Why not keep the only actual RB as a RB and then do a make-shift solution for LB? Souza is not even a make-shift solution. Only problem is he is young and inexperienced in the EPL. Still a less risky solution because he is a natural LB.

What could go wrong more than what we are experiencing anyway.

Desperate time call for desperate measures.

Gray, Danso VDV gotta be a better 3 or Spence, Danso VDV

He’s fucking horrendous

Gray is a midfielder, not a CB.

Unfortunately Romero really let us down in a massive way getting that 4 match ban. It's left our options in tatters.
He’s out in better performances at cb than drag and Spence also a better option

Lange has left it in tatters not Romero

No midfielder that can pass, no left back, no-one that can run in behind and no wingers (with or without injuries)

Thought Sarr, Gray, Spence and Gallagher were all poor vs Woolwich but Fulham’s main strength is transitions so we need them all to play.

Hopefully something like this:

[LINEUP]Vicario
Byfield Danso VDV
Porro Gray Sarr Spence
Gallagher Xavi
Muani
[/LINEUP]

Then vs Palace much more attacking at home with Tel and Solanke starting with Muani and Xavi behind them
