Should be 4-2-3-1.

Easier for players to adapt to. Carrick has shown at United how a team struggling can improve with that simple change away from the issues 3-4-3 gives you.

If this manager sticks to 3-4-3 we could be digging our own grave. We don’t have the personnel. Not recruited for that system for the past 3 years.

Mind boggling if that’s the only system this Tudor geezer plays.

That's always Been Tudors system, can't see him suddenly dropping it tbh.

Think there's potential in his version of it as a 3:5:2

As we're forever complaining about our shite wide players, especially on the left so having two big guys up front and Xavi behind may work

I think it’s defensively we will struggle most playing with 3 at the back.
Time will tell anyway. Hopefully the players surprise me.

Not sure it matters as much as effort and the right organisation through coaching.

Remember We were smashed 3-0 by forest, could've been 7-0 playing arguably are strongest in a back 4 ,

A back 4 certainly doesn't make us defensively better. We've just been bad no matter what

So what I'm gleaning from that Press Conference is basically the media trying to set him up to fail, Ian 'The Moose' Abraham sticking his oar in, no doubt on behalf of all the TalkSport listeners, and the Page 3 Sun journalist (on 11minutes) tawlkin' abaahht playin' durty! None of which Igor understood!

He's been here 5 minutes... They're already trying to trip him up with misquotes or answers they can clip up, jump on and make his 3 months here hell... Gutter jurno Pricks!

But BOY does he remind me of Ricky Villa!!

For no sensible reason whatsoever I've got a feeling we are going to win 0-3 & will be having a bet on that result too.
It'll either have you all Lording me up come Sunday night OR proving, once again, that a fool and his money are easily departed.

Of course but the mentality of it I understand.

Tudor is saying “I played this game, I coached at massive clubs, I know the levels you need to reach and if you don’t reach them, I’m a big hard bastard who will make you run.”

You won’t find it in the coaching textbooks but it’s probably something they will respect
These soft bastards?

lol we'll see.

Hope you're right.

Soft is a culture thing imo as well.

I’m sure they’ve all been in clubs that don’t have a soft culture and survived.

Only the specific types of people don’t adapt down to a soft culture when they’re surrounded by it.
I think we've got a fair few decent characters among the group.

It's not like the days of wasters like Hojbjerg and Dier and Winks being leaders in the dressing room.
