Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Some of you have such short memories and forgotten how coward we played under Frank. Granted we haven't won under Tudor, but we sustained a longer period of trying and attempting shots.

Nobody said it was easy, but under Frank I'm adamant we will be in a slump we would never get out. We are still in a slump, male no mistake, but the effort in trying to get out is definitely far greater we had ever have under Frank.

Just give us a slight good fortune I don't care, OG, opponents red cards, gvie us penalties whatever. An uptick in fortune, confidence and morale can do lots to drag us out.

That's the hilarious reaction of some people.

All of a sudden we should have kept the last manager, or the one before that - totally ignoring that both of the fuckers couldn't win a PL game if it was bought for them. Proper stockholm syndrome stuff

It’s not. He’s shit. Not sure which players from our relegation fighting squad deserve time and patience either. They’re a bag of wank.

You lot wanted patience for Brennan too, who sucked, and continues to suck elsewhere. They’re just shit players mate.
You think everyone is sh!t, so I'm not too sure I am going to take too much of that on board.

I really do wonder who you think would have come in and done so much better in 2 games.

There is the view off some posters and then there is the real world.

I don't know enough about Tudor, but he doesn't have to be too good. Just good enough. I don't think in essence one game away from our ground, against a decent team at home proves a damned thing.

Yeah there is the real world where you made out Brennan was good (too shit even for palace now) and the not real world where we just accept that almost everyone in the team sucks apart from a few gems.

Tudor was probably the best we could get as a stand in but he’s got a bang average CV & if any of our rivals hired him we would be laughing and asking who he is.

I can’t blame him for basically any of our current situation but nor do I think he improves it in the slightest.

Just some perspective. Two games, one against the top team in the league, and today, a club confidently playing very decent football that Silva has been managing for years. What did we really think Tudor could do in less than two weeks? Unless he's got a magic wand, he's still got the same useless, inconsistent, injury-prone players who can't pass to each other, can't control the ball, can't block shots, can't shoot - the list goes on.

The only games that really matter are the games against Forest, Wet Spam, and Palace. There's no sense in talking of another change of manager now, that's not going to help and we just need to hope that the players have enough self-pride not to want to be part of the squad that took Spurs down.

Tudor will have learned something today. That RKM is average, Richarlison does care and is capable, Solanke needs a proper role, Xavi can't play wide and Gallagher playing out on the touchline is pointless and no threat to the opposition. Hopefully Tudor will learn from all of that, but, the bookies had Fulham odds-on before a ball was kicked, because the table doesn't lie - so our hope is to farm points off those around us.

I have said my bit.

The only position we have an “abundance of riches” is at CF with RKM, Solanke, and Richy. We hardly have a single 10 in Xavi.

And we hire a manager who plays two 10s and 1 striker.

This has to be an inside job.

Every time they breaked today, I watched us not track a single runner. These players are so lazy I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it.

Their players just ran through our midfield uncontested and nobody engages with them. Honestly, it’s unbelievable.

No manager stands a chance with these players, I am convinced of it now. They just do not want to put their yards in and do the basics.

Like another post in the last 30 minutes, absolutely bang on the money.

I think people are posting with emotion, frustration and pain, hence the incoherence in comments.

It is however a painful fact that a win today would nearly have made it psychologically impossible for West Ham.

They play before us next week, and if they win, it will pile pressure on us. Same with Forest.

I did say the other day that we will have a lot of short-term pain before hopefully picking up some results towards the end of this month when we get more players back. But today was very worrying. I thought we would have more of a reaction and yet it was more of the same.

Very few coaches who could have made much difference and none of them would want to take a job where the squad is shit, 11 players are injured and relegation is a definite possibility.

That said, I think somehow, Tudor has made us even worse. Which, I guess, in its own way, is quite impressive.

Bit worrying today, not gonna lie. Shape of the team just felt all wrong. Players didn’t look comfortable. Gaps in front of the defence. No pace or width. Injuries aren’t helping but hasn’t really made an impact. Did the owners ask him what the plan was for the players available. Talked a good game but hmmm
