After what we've watched the last 5 or so years, I will contemplate taking a year off if we go down. Perhaps ignoring the premiership as well as ourselves, european competitions, all football. Just not sure I have the energy when the club brass have no commitment to repaying fan loyalty.

Someone on a pod said it best, if I didn't support this club I would never support this club.
:vinai:
It would be depressing for sure, but personally I would never want to miss out on the sheer weirdness and novelty of Spurs playing in the Champ. There are a million reasons to be negative about relegation and the club ownership but one thing's guaranteed: it would be a very memorable and unique season. I'm gonna be watching every minute if it happens.

A second season in the Championship? Oh help me god...

Chelsea will sack Rosenior before we get to play them

What i saw from them last night was worse than anything we've served up all season.
Including both games against Arseholes.

He is a proper manager. Potter had us doomed. he stopped sullivan signing strikers in the summer and defensively we were diabolical. skysports keep saying how many corner weve let goals in from. 15? I think 12/3 were in the first few games! Nuno has made some strange decisions at the beginning but always said the squad was unbalanced. since ditching pacqueta and bringing the 2 strikers (taty scored 5 pablo 0 but they put pressure on the defenders and its transformed us abd given space to bowen and summerville) he is defensive minded but has brought in finally a member of staff whos livened it all up since Jan. Hes calm and since the assistant has come in his subs are more attacking - chelsea 2 up and he brings on kilman who gave them the game. He has improved players. Mavropanos has been sensational. Summerville now has an end product and hes used the yougsters. Hes also brought hermanson back in who was destroyed in those early games. He is very comfortable on the ball and has only made 1 mistake since coming back in at villa. hold on he might have been shit at liverpool but i had the sun in my eyes at the other end and obviously never watched it back!!!.
If marinakas had not been a fool and hired that fraud edu, Nuno would have stayed at forest. He is a good manager.

I know there is a new feeling around it but honestly I don't see the evidence.
An improved performance against Brighton but somehow we still found a way not to win.
Until we see it on the pitch I am still pretty sure we are going down.
You could easily make an argument for Brighton being the best team we'll play under De Zerbi this season.
They battered Chelsea senseless last night. Won 6 of their last 8. Have Europe to play for.

Seeing a massive upturn in our game in that match is very positive. I know it's impossible to state this is the new norm, but play like that against Wolves and Leeds and we win.
If Villa rest key players, good chance of points there.
THIS Chelsea is the worst I've ever seen. Hopefully they don't pull the trigger yet. They're 1 game away from swapping places with us in the form table I think.
We'll have to see where the land lies when we get to Everton on the last day. They may be done.

Really do think we'll stay up now. Beat Wolves then we have Villa in between there European Semi finals game and the Leeds who might have an FA Cup final a few days after our game. There's no chance they both go full strength for them

Sorry but I can’t believe this club and team will do anything positive now until they do. I thought we’d beat Sunderland, I thought we’d beat Brighton, but we didn’t. Funnily enough I don’t think we will beat wolves, so let’s hope I continue to be wrong!

Indeed, time (and fixtures) are running out.

Each week we see improvement and encouraging performances. Aside from goalkeeper mistakes, we were better than Atletico in both legs. We were better than Brighton, better than Sunderland - yet somehow couldn't win.
