Another old timer with anger issues who can't cope with the modern world.

Calling out other fans and calling them shit.
I bet you've never been to a game you fucking wand.
Fuck off, Gooner cuntSo 7th will not be enough. Sorry about this, but COME ON VILLA
Supporting the club should of course come second to your train struggles...I would take a 10-0 defeat if it didn't mean I had to struggle with the trains on a Sunday. Of course, most people on here wouldn't know how to find WHL without a map, so it doesn't matter to them.

I agree with what you say. But the Europa League is a dark, shitty shadow of what the UEFA Cup was....and if, you know, yer 'istory!

No one in THESE pics seem to be unhappy to be there...
I don't care HOW they re-brand it, and subtly convince us it's actually a competition not worth being in... it's FUCKING EUROPE... AND TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR BELONG THERE!!

You also have to realise that you come across as someone trying to prove his fandom because he's an American based fan. But, my friend, there is a sizeable chunk of fandom who won't buy that argument, no matter how vehemently you make it. Do I subscribe to it? No. But it's a fact nonetheless. Foreign fans as they may be are, as far as I am concerned, very welcome. But don't second guess the fans who do go regularly and may have a different opinion from, particularly now. Unfortunately there is a considerable chunk of attendees at WHL these days who feel they have done enough for their club that the matchday experience and their fandom is what they decide it to be. Are they right? Probably not. But they are there nonetheless. It kills me that I can't go to WHL for every home game, that I can't travel to see Spurs away, that I can't go to Europe with them! I do what I can to support from far away and that includes waking up with a brain splitting hang over to see them play at 04:45. I choose to do this, because I fucking love this team! Now, I understand being priced out of tickets and how that verges on being criminal, but complaining about catching a train? You have no idea how lucky you are to be able to complain about how it's somewhat difficult to make it to the Lane! There are supporters on here from throughout the world that would kill for the opportunity to go see a match just once a season let alone every single game.
I understand that we might not "get it" when it comes to the "ramifications" of playing in Europe. But your comment comes off as incredibly rude and dismissive of the fans that don't live in and around London.
Because it was created for the purpose of monetary gain and not improving the competition. Hiding behind the facade that it was created to open the competition to some of the more ''minor'' nations.
