There's nobody that plays at any club in the top half of the table who has a player that does that. It was reckless, showboating and unnecessary, much like his pass across our box in the first half that almost led to a total gift.
You're taught from day dot, if in doubt, put it out. Not cross the ball for the other team while we have an empty net, or needlessly doing a silly overhead kick when he could've just headed it out for a corner.
Youth isn't an excuse for that I'm afraid. He's played enough football in his career to know better.

Yeah that was downright odd. You pretty much never see players do that at any level, let alone the PL. Essentially an attacking cross for Leeds.
He's a weird one, Tel. Just does completely inexplicably dumb shit sometimes, but also capable of occasional brilliance.
He has zero footballing IQ. How many times did he ignore the open man for an overlap or pass, just to get into trouble? If he had half a brain, he'd be a decent footballer. But just too many times have we seen just completely ridiculous shit.

Would he? You could literally say that about any footballer. He's not skillful, he's not quick, he's not great technically, he has a decent cross from time to time, that's literally it. Bayern have had us over with this one, the absolute cheek to ask for 60m or whatever the initial asking price was too. Tel plays like its playground football, can't even do the basics right and he wants to try some nonsense, completely unacceptable and that today could be what relegates us.

He can beat a man, he just needs to choose when to do it, but I don't think he's ever going to be capable of it. Just a fucking awful signing from the off. The £8m loan fee just made a sunk cost fallacy, should've taken the loss on him and moved on, but nah.
Not sure about that, he doesn't even look like a winger to me, he's sort of a weird striker at best. He doesn't move well enough to be a winger, you've got to move well, if you cant move well you need to be a Grealish type and he most definitely is not that!
It's hard to pin down a position because he's levels below the level he's playing at, doesn't fit anywhere.
Its not a big deal a young player doing a mistake like that. The problem is all our players are like that, all the games under RDZ we didn't won was due tô individual mistakes and a lot happened before him. I can't remember a team that conceded so much goals due to individual errors as we conceded this season.

However I will gladly flame him for the amount of games (at least 4 in recent memory) where through on goal on either side of the pitch, all he had to do was to roll it across to a player who had made a lung busting run into the box to support Tel and was unmarked with a tap in if the pass was made.
Tel has instead, on each occasion; shanked it wide, shanked it over the bar, shanked it at the keeper or just shanked it at whoever was rushing to close him down.
Plus he wears that fuckin fake bandage on top of all the above, pussyhole. It started around his wrist when they season started. Come the Chelsea game next week, don't be surprised if he turns up with his whole arm in a caste, braided prick.
