People have to vent and go after the lowest hanging fruit

Last night wasn't on Tel, he's the one who scored in the first place. Get vexed at richarlison for a hat trick or misses, palhinha had a really good chance and punted it over

But really all frustration should be pointed at the right place
:langetroll: :vinai:

No - it isn't "the lowest hanging fruit"

Yes, he scored - but what he did was beyond stupid. One of the most important games in the recent history of the club and he does that.

Udogie was no better doing stupid things.

We need to Aurier a bunch of them off in the summer

The role of these guys is to sign the cheque's. Our scouting network should take a lot of the responsibility for the poor standard of players they recommend we should sign.

The strangest since his attempted cross in our own box 🤣 🤦🏼‍♀️
Indeed - for me that was much worse. I know the overhead kick was stupid, but he was very unlucky to have a player come in behind him and dip his head at exactly the right moment to head the ball and get (possibly...) kicked in the face for a penalty, but the cross into our own box was far more worrying in terms of his decision-making, it suggests a total lack of understanding of what to do /not do on the pitch, and crossing it into you own box is about as basic as it gets...

That said, I actually do think he has ability, and if anyone can put him on the right track to becoming more effective then RDZ can. In any case I'm pretty sure he won't try either of those things in our penalty area again...

We are forever making excuses for our players: well, he’s a useful squad player, he can score the odd goal .etc. but the fact is most of them are sooo mediocre, certainly not up to Premiership standard. We need players who excite us when they get on the ball, that’s what we always used to have, like Bale, like Klinsmann, like Sheringham, like Sonny, like Kane, not these bunch of weak no-hopers. There needs to be a serious clear out.
I’ve spent a lot of my life getting excited about a Spurs game, loving watching Spurs … but lately …

So fuck he scored, he scored first.

We had a crucial lead and he fucked it up by trying a ridiculously flamboyant and risky clearance in his own box in the last fucking quarter of the match.

People excusing this are fucking idiotic.
Let’s not forget his defensive cross across his own box in the first half that Danso got a touch on otherwise a free header into an empty net. Get rid end of season.

So much worse than the overhead. Said it during the match thread, that if a player feels that’s something they should be doing, they are never going to amount to anything.

I still give Tel the benefit of the doubt and remember he's still only 21 and has been chucked in the deep end. He does have flashes of good play and I think he will be good over time.

But my god he's a professional football player playing in a game that could determine what league the club plays in and does that.

I just think that he's trying too hard and overthinking everything he does.
Needs to take a breath, slow down and keep it simple, a bit like Bergvall at times but unlike Bergvall, we don't have any option but to play the kid so he's learning the hard way.

Yes - he scored.
Well no - one else did . And it wasn't a tap in.
The penalty was a one-off. The goal might not be.
He has a good goal and an assist in the last two games.
Maybe if he'd started in some of the other games?

I'm not going to cut him any slack at all. The most lunatic clearance Iv'e seen, and a nailed on pen every time.

and in the first half he sent a cross across OUR goal which was almost a point blank header.

I can't stand footballers being thick. So he's only 21? Well hes been playing competetive footie for what - 15 years? Can't work out that you dont send a ball like that across your own box? You don;t so spectacular bicycle kick clearances when you dont need to?

Our managers this season have been let badly down by the players' absoulte stupidity at times.

Xavi red card v LFC

Christ knows how many points weve blown just with that lot

He was a liability all game - one goal doesn't change that.

When it's one of the most important moments in modern history for the club, you don't do things that stupid. It wasn't like he did it because he had scored - he would have done it independently of that. that's the issue
