I still wouldnt know what your stance is to be honest...for every post about Spurs, you make 17 about me.
You been counting?
My stance has been made clear several times but you clearly only concentrate on the posts where you can slip in a smiley or a dig at someone. It must make you feel very smug indeed.
FWIW, I have seen enough this season to say Poch deserves a lot more time & that he should be backed by the club in the transfer market this summer (having not been backed in January, after which our season has suffered- whether or not it is a coincidence is perhaps for another Spurs debate). I also think that the fans should back him too. Is that such a controversial point of view? We have seen Kane emerge as the most exciting English talent we have produced in years. Bentaleb has built on last season & looks very promising &, as we are on the Danny Rose thread, he has blossomed this season under Poch to the point that some on here are now expressing concern that he may be sold in the summer. What (or who) has been responsible for this change of wind? The youth set up looks good, & perhaps Poch has dealt with the Adebayor situation in a professional, diplomatic & compassionate way rather than making him train with the youth team, for example.
The team lacks experience & hopefully this will be addressed this summer with the players the manager wants to bring in, to compliment what he currently has. Again, is it unreasonable to suggest that? The experienced squad members may or may not have been overlooked. If they have, then there are likely to be compelling reasons- Ade's mental health being one example. Lennon getting loaned out suggests that all was not well with some of the more experienced campaigners. The fact is, nobody has been overwhelmed by the past couple of months but with performances like Woolwich & the Chavs, there are things to be optimistic about. It shows we are capable of beating top 4 teams. A lack of experience & possibly lack of activity in the transfer window saw us fall short this year. Let's hope the chairman sees it that way this summer & doesn't knee jerk again because the fans are clamouring for the managers head. If we are having this same conversation this time next year (heaven forbid), with Poch having been fully backed in both transfer windows, then I will concede he's probably Not the person to take us forward. I've said this a few times on various threads. You must have missed those posts
