I assume they are talking about Mehmet Topal (defensive mid).

For a laugh, I've looked at what the usual 'ITKs' were saying about Schneiderlin, prior to his transfer announcement...

Who: JJetset
When: 30th June
Where: Twitter

Someone said: And it goes something like this. We dont go for TA and they dont stand in our way for MS?

JJeset replied: nothing like that. MS not coming to us.

Who: Ali Z
Where: COYS
When: 10/7/2015

On MS:
Woolwich eggs firmly in the Vidal basket, door might be opening for us.

Leave that with you as I'm off to bed!

Who: Trix
When: 12th July
Where: COYS

Saints want closer to £30mil and they are refusing to budge. Unless MS puts in a transfer request it will require their asking price to move him as things stand.

JJSet was the only one who was confident that Mr. Schneiderlin wasn't coming to us, all hail JJSet!

:freundgoal:

What will a second striker have to do with how we start our season?:chadliwtf:
Plenty, because it's stupid of the club to rely on Kane.

I said if we didn't get a second striker in January our season would fall away, and so it proved.

Now I'm saying if we don't get a second striker in this window, we'll have a poor season. Even if we get one in at last minute.com, I predict our season will get off to a poor start and we'll be playing catch up, which considering we've got little chance of top 4 anyway, will turn that aim into a delusion.

And of course without a second striker you can say goodbye to the other trophies, cos Kane is good but Superman he ain't.

How many transfer battles have we come out on top against United since Gazza??......

One injury to Kane thats what difference he will make!!
Exactly, quite a few people, especially those running the club seem to have such a blind spot over our lack of striker cover.
If we lose Kane, and are scrambling round for a last minute replacement watch the asking prices rocket and us ending with someone not good enough to lead the line for us in Kane's absence.

We keep buying defenders when it's another striker we need, it's absolutely stupid.

TBH, we could do with two strikers in, or at least another striker and an attacker who can play striker at a push. But I'll take one to be going on with.

I hate to break this to you...

We we're 5th at the end of January with Woolwich underneath us only because we'd played one extra game.

So technically 6th in january. We came in 5th. Go home, crazy man.

Why do you bother you senile old tit? Your negativity is a constant bore to the enitre board. You are positive about nothing. Just fuck off.

A bench striker will be the difference between a good and bad start? He may not even play if Kane is fit, so will have no bearing either way.

You just go out of your way to dig out the club at any opportunity be it the stadium, the manager, now our transfers.

Cunt.

Didn't Poch say that Kane will be rested to start the season due to his U-21 duties earlier in the summer?

why would you say we have little chance of top 4 when were always there about. we have some of the best young talent in europe getting more exp under there belt,(only going to improve from last season) got rid of some dead wood. dosen't look like where gna lose anyone from our 1st team. our signings so far have been pretty good and we're are more than likely to bring in more. 2 of our rivals from last season are weaker(pool and saints both losing key players). got a stadium on the way were financially secure all without having a suger daddy to put us there. think you need to be a bit more optimistic season hasn't even started yet n ur writing them off.

I have concluded our transfer business with a line up generator.

Someone forward it on to Levy and co.

Thanks

That looks pretty awesome compared to the start of the window. My initial thought was yeah right. But actually, it's 3 players more in. It should be very do-able, no matter if you want those exact 3 players, and like me think there's a couple more Poch might like to change for new signings.

I'm loving our summer bussiness so far. Trippier, Wimmer, Toby, Alli and Pritchard are great additions for the team. We are in theory with a better team and with that, closer to the fight for a Champions League spot.
